The inside is unique as we discovered the outdoor rooftop eating area after several stairways and tight turns. The restaurant area is surprisingly large. We ate in the upstairs outdoor area which was charming. For my order, I tried to order the scone meal but they were out of them so I got the bacon and egg sandwich on a brioche bun as a backup. It came with two hash brown triangles and was fresh and filling and very yummy. My dining companions had the Veg Cockney which is a full vegetarian breakfast and another had the Eggs Scotland (Eggs Benedict with Scottish smoked salmon). I tried a bit of each and enjoyed them. The Clarence Court Leghorn Eggs they use have a brilliant orange-ish yellow to the yolk and I swear they taste better than the ones in the States. This is cute place with great homemade food that hits the spot!

It was a Saturday and most of the coffee shops around Highbury and Islington station were closing around 6pm. This was the only one, other than starbucks that was still open so we thought what the heck. I ordered a Chai Latte that was cheap and turned out to be in a large cup and pretty decent. There was also a full range of Fentimans ginger beer along with a largish selection of desserts. The place was pretty small, but service was quick and efficient despite there being only one member of staff. Would definitely stop by again, perfect place if you're not looking for a drink at the pub next door and it's still too early for dinner.

My friends and I decided to have 1 last breakfast before flying back to Los Angeles. I yelped this place and when we walked in, it felt so welcoming to us. It was cozy, decorated in a fun way and there was fake grass!!! I knew right then that my meal would be amazing because my mood was set. When we sat in wooden tables that resembled us having a picnic, we were greeted by extremely kind staff. We ordered, got recommendations on teas then just sat in our seats, taking the view in. Our tea came in the MOST ADORABLE tea pot/ cut set ever!! They were matching and assembled as one. I loved it so much that I asked if they sold another set for me to take home hahah there was even a cookie on the side, which I ended up buying 2 full bags of at the restaurant hahah I ordered the full English breakfast and it was scrumptious. I loved the way the mushrooms tasted and everything else was cooked to perfection. The plating was very appealing to the eyes. I would definitely recommend this place to all my traveling friends!

Nonetheless, I've ticked it off of my list and will return (probably today!). Nearby coffee shops are good. Some are even really good but KHP is excellent.
