"That's why it's called Coffee House, not a coffee shop. I want people to come here and chat and build a community."
That's what Peter, the owner of KHP told me yesterday when I popped into his "house" for the first time. Peter is a friendly guy who is enforcing all things COVID-secure in this tiny "house" of his so do the right thing and come prepared.
I ordered an oat flat white and it was arguably the best oat flat white that I have had in London.
KHP was one of the few coffee shops in the area that I'd not yet visited. It's just a tad too far to walk from my flat but too close for me to want to lug my bike down three flights of stairs to go such a short distance. Nonetheless, I've ticked it off of my list and will return (probably today!).
Nearby coffee shops are good. Some are even really good but KHP is excellent.
Note: Bike parking can only be found south of St Pauls Road. There are a few "U" stands near Salut! and a few "U" stands at the park across from Salut! (west of Essex Road). read more
