I love doing business with Mom & Pop's!…read more I have an antique Ham Radio that I am refurbishing. It was built in the 70's, when round cases and turquoise was cool! We'll, it clashed with all of my other black radio cases, so it was time to do something about it. You could paint the case yourself and save a little money, but if you've ever witnessed the look and durability of powder coating, it's a no-brainer! So, I dropped by Powder Coat AZ and spoke with Rebecca. The case did have a little rust, but she told me that they would sandblast it clean. I was then given the option of colors from a very large color pallet and also told that I had my choice of texture. I was then given an estimate, which I thought was reasonable. I was told the job would take two or three weeks, so off I went. After three weeks, I received a call as promised. I walked in and was greeted by family no doubt. Two of them, furry and long-eared stood up to greet me at the front counter until Rebecca was able to help me personally. The case was perfect and beautiful. The coating is flawless and will be much more durable. If I had painted it myself, there would always be that run that bothered me. Not this time! I am thrilled to have these folks so close by. Friendly, Reasonable and Beauty that I will enjoy for years to come! Thanks Powder Coating AZ!

When that p/u Friday came around I didn't get a call so I called them with no answer. 2/13/2023 Called again Monday with no answer so I was forced to go to the shop on Tuesday. 2/14/2023 When they brought out my parts I noticed right away there were imperfections. *see pics 2-4* these are obvious areas where there wasn't enough coverage and from them hanging the parts to spray. I had to point these areas out to the guy. They said they "weren't doing white" that day so I would have to wait for them to be resprayed. I got my parts back on Wednesday. FINALLY. Once I got the roll pan and bumper installed on my truck I noticed the roll pan was now warped! *see pic #1* I am beyond frustrated with this company! 2/16/2023 I took my truck back the next day after install to show them the problem. Tony the QC guy, Gary the sales guy and a painter all came out to look and take pictures. I was told by Gary I would get a call back that day after he spoke to the powers that be. It was about noon and they close at 5pm so there was more than enough time to discuss this and call me back. 2/22/2023 As of the date of this review I have called several times with either no answer or no call back. They have NOT even attempted to resolve the issue with the warped roll pan. What is the point of having a QC department if I as a customer is going to be presented with shoddy quality work? And "I" as the customer have to be the one to point it out. And their customer service leaves everything to be desired because it really is nonexistent. At this point my only option is to start the process over with another new roll pan and new shop! Beware of this place! I would NOT recommend this place even if u are looking to powder coat a bicycle! I would give zero stars if that was an option.
