The exp with DCS was terrible to say the least. 2/03/2023 When I dropped off the front bumper and roll pan for my 97 Tahoe I was given a week (Fri to Fri) turn around. When that p/u Friday came around I didn't get a call so I called them with no answer. 2/13/2023 Called again Monday with no answer so I was forced to go to the shop on Tuesday. 2/14/2023 When they brought out my parts I noticed right away there were imperfections. *see pics 2-4* these are obvious areas where there wasn't enough coverage and from them hanging the parts to spray. I had to point these areas out to the guy. They said they "weren't doing white" that day so I would have to wait for them to be resprayed. I got my parts back on Wednesday. FINALLY. Once I got the roll pan and bumper installed on my truck I noticed the roll pan was now warped! *see pic #1* I am beyond frustrated with this company! 2/16/2023 I took my truck back the next day after install to show them the problem. Tony the QC guy, Gary the sales guy and a painter all came out to look and take pictures. I was told by Gary I would get a call back that day after he spoke to the powers that be. It was about noon and they close at 5pm so there was more than enough time to discuss this and call me back. 2/22/2023 As of the date of this review I have called several times with either no answer or no call back. They have NOT even attempted to resolve the issue with the warped roll pan. What is the point of having a QC department if I as a customer is going to be presented with shoddy quality work? And "I" as the customer have to be the one to point it out. And their customer service leaves everything to be desired because it really is nonexistent. At this point my only option is to start the process over with another new roll pan and new shop! Beware of this place! I would NOT recommend this place even if u are looking to powder coat a bicycle! I would give zero stars if that was an option. read more

My patio furniture was badly chipped during a move across the country. I used Desert Coating Solutions to fix the furniture and I was very pleased with the results. The chaises, chairs, and table look brand new. Communication with Jason was easy. He said they would remove the old coating, sandblast all items, as well as apply a primer coat for rust prevention and a topcoat in the color of my choice and it would be completed in 2 weeks. Andy picked up and delivered the furniture as promised. He was professional, was very careful handling the furniture, and did a great job. I was referred by a friend to this company. They did an amazing job. I dealt with Jason on the drop off and Allen on the pick up. Both guys were easy to deal with and the price that I payed was the price that I was quoted. My Tundra truck rims turned out just as I had hoped and they were ready when they were promised. This company does major industrial powder coating jobs based on the materials I seen out in the yard while dropping off my rims. These guys took the time to listen to my requests and answer my concerns while my items were a small job in comparison to what they usually do on a daily basis. Even though my job was small and I'm sure it was more of a hassle to deal with... the guys made me feel that my job was important and that earning my business was important. This place is definitely a mom and pop style business that takes pride in their craft. I live in north phx and this place is worth the drive. The powdercoaters in my area had bad reviews and didn't answer the phone when I initially called to inquire about pricing. I will use Desert Coating Solutions for any of my future projects and needs. The guys out back were very busy, but took the time to acknowledge my presence and let me know that they would give a hand once they unloaded a huge flat bed trailer. This place rocks, it's huge and industrial, so when I walked in I figured my job was "too small", ha, no chance. Even though they were busy coating everything from rought-iron fences to atv frames, they made time for my 105 dollar job. The work was quality, performed timely, and priced fair.
