I saw a review of Rick's Custom Cabinetry on Facebook and contacted Rick. I had a picture of a Restoration Hardware vanity that I loved and they were able to provide a quote over the phone. After putting down the initial deposit, both Larry and Rick came to meet with me and go over specific details, drawer samples, dimensions, and the even worked with my contractor and plumber to a sure that the pipes would be able to fit with the specific drawer layout, which saved a lot of headaches down the road and shows how detail oriented they are. The vanity was finished right on time and it couldn't be more beautiful. The drawers/doors all have soft close hinges which worked perfectly. It was a breeze to install, and the quality is far beyond anything that I could've found a big box store or online. I'd also like to throw in there that Larry and Rick are two of the nicest professionals and I enjoyed working with them so much.

However, when I contacted customer service simply to ask if there was any remaining inventory in the color I needed, I was told that they only manufacture cabinets by custom order. I was also informed that while they are able to reproduce discontinued colors for warranty claims, they refused to do so for my non-warranty request. I understand that businesses need to operate efficiently and make decisions that support profitability. That said, when a company has the ability to help a customer but chooses not to solely because of "policy," it reflects poorly on how much they truly value their customers. Within the past year, I purchased five full kitchen sets from this company. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be purchasing from them again, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a company that prioritizes customer support and long-term customer relationships.
