The Arizona Flagstone was very difficult to clean. He went over it multiple times. After everything was finished, he asked me to inspect his work. There were just a couple areas I wanted him to go over again. Without hesitation he did. Again, afterwards he asked me again. I couldn't fine anywhere that needed another go around. I know he spent much more time than he expected. He did not say a word about that. I was very pleased with his work. Straight up, honest hard working guy. I gave him a nice tip for his hard work. One smelled like weed and just did sales. Two doused themselved in cologne and just did sales. They all took quite some time during their visits, wanted to tell me how awesome their company was why I should hire them. Their prices, for the same work, were at times several thousands of dollars in difference. Not consistent at all. James and Travis came, took measurements, listen to what my objective was, what I had in mind and my concerns. James told me both him and Travis would be the ones doing the work, and no one else. I asked some specific technical questions which they were very happy to answer and seemed to be very knowledgeable about. He showed me some photos of his past projects off his phone and gave me suggestions of types of finish, color tones, etc. Communication was clear and straight forward. He sent me an email by the end of the day with the proposal, even breaking down additional bits of work for extras (a la carte) I had asked about during the visit. The price was definitely fair and what I had in my mind the work would cost. He didnt try to upsell me, but made suggestions on what was realistic for my project and my objectives. Digitally signed it and scheduled when the work would be done. Easy. First day came and Travis was clean, neat, and most importantly, used quality fasteners, and galvanized post bases. I swear he fixed things I didnt ask for because the deck seemed much more rock solid and didnt flex. The carpentry work was done quickly and it looked good. His fasteners were lined up and equally set at the same depth in the decking. James came in to do the sanding and staining. He cleaned up after himself everyday and when issues came up, he was very good in communicating them with me. The work he did was thorough and detailed. The deck looked great even after his first day of sanding. He stuck to his schedule and completed the job when he said he would. The refinishing looked good and gave our sun bleached and weathered deck new life.
