My wife's 74th birthday was looming.  I was at a loss as to what to get her, a woman who has everything; so I started thinking outside-the-box....maybe a singing telegram.  I went online and found a website for the "Sidewalk Singers."  I made contact, they were available, a date was set, and I picked a couple of her favorite songs.  I made arrangements at the restaurant; everything was set.  I reserved a table in front of the stage, but my wife wanted to sit at a different table.  I convinced her that we had to sit in a table that was located by the stage.  Sidewalk Singers came in, set up, and sang a few songs before starting to sing Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday To Ya."  They inserted my name and my wife's name in the song.  At that moment, my wife knew they were there for her.  She started crying, I started crying, and everybody in the restaurant started clapping.  The Sidewalk Singers were great; the music was beautiful and right on time! Serafia and her partner Dan's commitment to helping their community through their natural gift of singing, spreading joy, and performing all while socially distanced is invaluable and truly made quite the surprise for my boyfriend's birthday.
