Sideshow Spirits is definitely not a sideshow, they are the main attraction! Having traveled the US and gone to over 150 distilleries, we do believe we have found our favorite at Sideshow! They've combined the skill of brilliant distilling with the vibe of the circus underworld and the uncanny draw of a speakeasy to create an unforgettable experience! As a distillery, their spirits are beautifully crafted, bottled and presented to highlight their unique flavors. The cocktails created with the spirits are very well balanced and dare I say sexy! The staff is impeccable, all exuding a passion for not only the spirits but also enhancing each guests experience. Morgan's tour was fun and informative, Cayden and Tom's drinks at the bar were extraordinary and the welcome we received every time we walked through the door by each staff member was very genuine! Kind of slow service. It felt crowded. Parking was quite difficult. The drink was fine but nothing exceptional.

Finally made it into sideshow and LOVE it. The ambiance and service is top notch. Tried the "step right up!" drink with the jalapeño vodka and passion fruit and the hubs tried the smoked Lincoln Manhattan with their white whiskey. Will definitely be back soon to experiment with more fancy cocktails. Love this addition to the Lincoln bar scene. read more

Currently my favorite place to drink in Lincoln. It is nestled on the backside of the building that is also BOOMBOX Social, so don't be dissuaded by mobs of college kids in and around the building. You can access the space by going in the front door of BOOMBOX social and walking straight to the back, or you can come in the side door on the east side of the building. There is also a secret entrance, if you can figure it out... With a bunch of unique drinks, and a good amount of seating between two floors, it's a great spot to hang out. They claim to be Lincoln's first legal distillery, so that's fun too. Thursdays feature $6 classic cocktails FYI. read more

This is a well deserved thank you to Cody and the Sideshow staff who worked the eve of December 13, 2024. We were visiting the area with my parents; and upon us checking out, Cody was gracious enough to volunteer to take us on a tour. We absolutely loved listening to the history and stories of the distillery, especially the Covid year. We find your product to be top notch, and then to have the customer service go above and beyond was unsurpassable. That stems from the moment we walked in the door. We were welcomed immediately by the "Taster" and went to the cocktail bar where our server/bartender was excellent. I also have to mention the ambiance of the cocktail/speakeasy area . . . Awesome! This was my parent's first time at any distillery, so you have set the bar so high, they can't imagine anything better! We want to personally thank you for making a group of outsiders feel so welcome and giving us an amazing experience. This is a review of the private event part of the Sideshow experience. I've been coming to Sideshow/Boombox for a fair amount of time and always enjoy the drinks and the dancing, but never had a chance to truly have a party just for me... until now! I booked out a distillery tour with a chef-prepared dinner and my group LOVED IT. The vibe on the upstairs area of Sideshow is incredible for mood-setting, the airs of an intimate upscale Seattle, Los Angeles, or Brooklyn lounge here in our Lincoln, Nebraska. You really need to come through and see it for yourself. If you've got a party coming up, talk to their event manager Kip today - highly recommended. All their drinks are amazing, by the way - Lizard King with vodka instead of gin is *chef's kiss*. The crispest, cleanest, chillest cocktail I've ever tasted! read more

Kip and Tom were fantastic to work with. We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner at Sideshow. If you have a small event I highly recommend using the Sideshow event space. We loved the selection of drinks and the freedom to decorate and bring in catering. Kip was always quick with responding to my inquiries and gave us many recommendations on how to best use the space. Tom kept the drinks coming and was very knowledgeable about the Sideshow and Kinkaider brands. We may like the place for the Wednesday night specials, but it is always a must stop for calming wind down whenever near downtown Lincoln. 5/5 stars for Sideshow! read more

Where was Sideshow Spirits when I was living in Nebraska?!? I've been wanting to go here since it opened three years ago and it finally happened. I grew up coming to Lincoln since it was the closest big town to where I live and kept coming to visit even after I moved to Omaha and then to Denver. Sideshow is what the Lincoln bar scene desperately needed. The Old Fashioned is the BEST I've had in Nebraska and very much close to edging out my favorite one ever. The Double Barrel Rye Whiskey is exquisite: I've never had a whiskey like it before. It's so robust yet cozy: perfect for those chilly Nebraska evenings in the fall. The bartender was very kind and personable which is refreshing from the stone faced cold bartenders in Denver. The atmosphere is super friendly - even the bar patrons were chatting with each other which is something you DO NOT SEE in Denver (the last time I went to my local brewery it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop). Major points for playing the soundtrack of my high school/college years when I was hanging out in Lincoln too. We are definitely coming back the next time we are visiting and I only wish I could find something like this here in Denver. read more

Super delicious high end cocktails, but doesn't seem pretentious at all. A very cool lounge vibe with soft music. Plus you get the chance to see your drink made right in front of you.
