Google "shithole" and this place will pop up. I'd describe the decor as under construction/lets hope the health inspector doesn't show up. Shitty rap music blasting from a speaker makes it impossible to have a conversation. Oh and they close the kitchen at 9pm. On a Friday. But don't worry, they'll happily cook a $3 frozen pizza and sell it to you for $15. Unless you're a cockroach? Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Kitchen closes way too early on weekend nights.. off to next place! Needs a face lift to compete with other bars in area

Dark dingy food was not good and it was cold. I was not impressed in the least. I hadn't been here for years but my friends told me to stop back and it had changed. That's not my opinion. We'll just leave it at that. read more

Y I K E S, Y I K E S, Y I K E S ! The weather was bad today, very appro po as Sidlines looks " weathered, REAL weathered ". If it hadn't been lunchtime, I would maybe been scared here. Talk about a tough looking bar, sheez. I bet that on a Friday or Saturday night it gets drunk and rowdy here. I probably will never come here then, but that's ok. Have at it. Been there done that. Our lunch experience however, did provide us with tasty food. A juicy chicken and ham sandwich, a gigantic French Dip and we went into food coma mode. Service was typically inadequate , even with few customers besides the 2 of us. 3 counting new baby girl. A few gents at the bar in camo seemed uninterested, hence non threatening. Whew. I think my daughter could have kicked at least one of their asses, maybe more. Wapner. This is the feeling I am taking away from here: I'M A ROUGH DOG A TOUGH DOG, WILD AND ALONE......... read more

A Great service good food and the atmosphere here is great. Don't miss having your favorite bouncer, bartender and all over friendly guy Tony make your dining experience perfect. Small town bar where everyone is friendly. read more

Idk if it's because this establishment just isn't used to having anyone other than local patrons as regular customers, or if both bartenders were having a bad day and decided to take it out on me and my friend, (neither of us had addresses on our ID's that were from anywhere close by, but my friend recently moved to Cambridge from out of state) but the general attitude of "you're not from here, and therefore are not welcome here" was made very apparent, and was nothing short of cringe-worthy. The short, 1-word responses, coupled with an overwhelming sense of irritation at our presence in the bar was a total turnoff. Everything on me and my friend's part was pleasant and polite, but it became very obvious very quickly that, for whatever reason, the bartenders did not like us, and they made no effort to make us feel welcome or comfortable throughout the duration of our time there. Honestly, if I could give this place a rating lower than 1 star, I would. If you didn't grow up in this town, or go to high school with the people working at this bar, don't bother going there. You won't feel welcome. We still left tips that were more than generous considering the tone of our service, but I will not be going back, and would NEVER recommend this place for anyone that I have even a shred of respect for. The saddest part is, the food was really good. Which, leads me to believe that's part of why the employees feel they can get away with treating customers the way we were treated, and if it weren't for the rude staff, I would have given this place a 5-star review. read more

We were in the area and decided to try this place for dinner. It's nothing more then a local bar. Service was slow but it was a Friday so it's to be expected. I had the quesadillas and they were the best ever. I'm still craving them. My husband had fajitas and he said they were really good. They had a good selection of kids menu food as well. Can't wait to go back and get a chicken quesadilla!!! Omg!! read more

Yet another establishment that is guilty of the "more food" sin. They provide such a large amount of garbage food that you're tricked into thinking: "perhaps this place isn't so bad after all," well, you're wrong, this place sucks. The staff is comprised of very angry single mothers throwing plates of sloppy garbage piles and poorly made drinks in your face for hours on end. I weep at night for the citizens of this quaint Minnesota town because they have very limited options for sports bars and they are forced to endure this place that has become known as an institution. Guantanamo Bay was considered an institution as well, and I'd rather eat there because then I'd have the comfort of knowing I was going to die shortly after. The food is trash, this is one of the worst staffs I have ever encountered, and the bartenders must all be blind and have no limbs to make drinks so awful. Avoid at all costs. read more

worst meal we'd had in a very long time. the fettucini alfredo was sour - we suspected it might've been the sauce, but the waiter, upon consulting with the kitchen, pointed out that maybe it was the vegetables. ---as if that was ok??? It was also pricy, not just for what it was (it said fresh vegetable on the menu, but the vege looked like they came out of a frozen bag - plus, definitely not "fresh", if they were sour!) the noodles were overcooked and floppy. the fried cod was heavily breaded and oily, fish itself not of good quality. no one in the restaurant had masks on, and the waiter told us there was no need to keep ours on. (wasn't aware the whole population, including guests from out of town, was vaccinated already?) he was also so close to us when taking our orders that spit flew over my face. This is a very bad time for this to happen. the waiter also had his finger in the fries when he brought me my plate. read more

I've been here plenty of times. It's nice for a lunch spot during the week. Has a two for one late night happy hour. Weekends usually have a good dance DJ and a diverse crowd. Many pool tables and TV's. Only once did I go for lunch and order the special which, to me means it'll be fast. I waited and waited, Meatloaf and mashed potatoes should be done and right out. Nope. I walked out. I have heard of others in town being slipped 'something' so keep your eye on your drink. The crowd does get crazy on occasion and I've seen fights. The police and cabs are handy. read more

Great place to hang out on Fridays and Saturday nights. Sometimes they have a DJ and dancing or small bands. So check their Facebook page for the schedule. The staff is mediocre. Some are nice, and others are crabby as hell. The drinks are made right, and the prices are reasonable. It has a nice small town feel but offers a lot more than most cities. Never gotten the bar food, but heard it's pretty good from friends. When it's time to go home for the night, don't forget to grab the free cab ride slip. Great for people that live closer than 15 miles. An excellent place to visit if you're having a lonely Friday or Saturday night. read more

Pretty typical small town Sports bar. Dirty, dark and an unnatural amount of patrons perched at the bar for a Wednesday afternoon. Went in with my Mom and 79 year old grandmother for lunch. Ordered the fish sandwich and a cup of the soup of the day. Menu stated that sandwich came with cheddar cheese, actually came with a sad slice of American cheese. Soup was navy bean and served room temperature. Mom and Granny both ordered the shrimp and fries basket and were content. A good cleaning, a couple of decent employees and a few more lights and this could be a 2 1/2 star establishment. read more

We've lived in the area for years and had never been here before. Overall- it really was ok. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I had a Cobb Salad that was $7.99 yet was the size of a salad you would get WITH your dinner. It was actually pretty good but definitely way overpriced. I was very glad that I hadn't tried to split it with someone else. The building itself is in desperate need of repair but it seemed pretty clean so I guess I don't mind that. My husband had the Prime and said that it was a little tough but not terrible (seriously this is Cambridge, right?) It really was a diverse crowd for dinner lots of 30ish people like us but also your baby boomers too. We'll go back... I just won't order a salad again. :/ read more

We ate here a couple of times when we were in town with family as it could handle a large group. The food was nothing special. A generic sports bar menu. Nobody complained about their food, but nobody raved about it either. Decent selection of beers. Staff was friendly and accommodating, though they seemed a bit understaffed. read more

Loved the small town bar atmosphere since it is the town I grew up in. Excellent deals for happy hour. We had great service and one of the best Reuben Sandwichs I have ever had. Loved I was able to get cheese curds since where I live now they don't know what that is. Had fun playing pull tabs....another thing that is not available where I live now. read more

The service was fantastic. Had the Reuben Sandwich that was just the right portion size and very flavorful. Happy Hour drink specials were the best I have ever scene but I am from Tennessee. Can't wait to go back when I visit again in July 2015. read more

Customer service at its finest! Lots of TV's, nice game room, excellent food. Huge menu, 10 flavors of wings that are awesome!!

this place has it's problems the roof leaks when it rains and there or buckets everywere the place could use a good remodeling or fix all the water stans in the cellings.the bartenders arn't to bad as long as you tip you get good service, but don't tip and you will be waiting a while before you get served read more
