This a go-to staple for a post-game get together with some good friends with the volleyball team. It's not too packed later, but is a bit busy during dinner rush. It's great! Never too loud and always great service! Our server is super attentive, and knows most of the crew and their preferences. The food here has always been on par at this location. Some of my favorites are the appetizers including their boneless wings. Great taste! I'll continue to visit and enjoy every bit of it. Thank you! read more

We stopped here today for lunch. It wasn't very crowded today due to weather. We both ordered their special which was a chicken sandwich with fries and a drink for 9.99. It was a good sandwich and the fries were hot. I got a lemon aid for my drink. We had good service too. Thanks for the nice lunch. read more

Visited this location with a friend for dinner and a drink. It's a little cramped but not too bad for Cambridge. Shout out to our server Kyle, he was very nice and attentive. The food is fine- it's Applebees. We got the classic margarita which comes with chips (it was enough that we could've shared them rather than get our own but all good). I got my usual- the four cheese pasta with honey pepper chicken. It's always good and this was no exception but like I said, it's Applebees so it's not the most flavorful thing in the world but it works. I'd probably go back, they have relatively good deals on drinks. read more

We came in for lunch Tuesday for the specialty burgers First the waitress told us they did not have the New Orleans one anymore "she was told" but. It was up on the store sign Then she would not let me substitute mashed potatoes for the fries the waitress 2 weeks before did not have a problem with it and then she forgot to get us water! Other people that got there after us already had drinks! I don't think I want to go back again read more

Went there today for dinner the waitress brought us Luke warm food, no silverware or napkins never refilled are drinks and was rather rude. My appetizer the quesidia looked like slop on a plate that 4 year old grand daughter made. We will never be back sincerely a disgruntled customer. read more

Ordered a steak medium rare for pickup, once home I blindly ate most of it and glanced down at an odd texture. Steak was incredibly undercooked and I ended up feeling really sick. Don't order the steak, everytime I give it a chance(like once every 3 years), they mess it up. read more

Food is great and nice atmosphere. We have always had great service and never waited long for a table.

The location's manager didn"t even bother helping the the only waitress/bartender serve, seat, or help serving drinks.

The location seems to be short staffed and the manager couldn't be bothered to assist the only person waiting tables and bartending.

Decent service at first no concerns right away, ordered food and chicken was dry and rubbery make matters worse server didn't return to check after we started eating old man behind us got served cold steak dinner and I never got a chance to complain due to waiting for server even after I used hand held at table to request server. Sum it up just paid our bill but I suggest eating anywhere else other than Applebee's in Cambridge mn read more

This place needs new management and new servers. They are as clueless and as rude as they come. Cold food, food not coming out at the same time, wrong order..... Everything was straight up awful and the server and management did nothing to make it better. Do not come here, this place needs to learn how to operate a restaurant beca they have no idea. Applebees is your "neighborhood grill + bar" meaning the service should be friendly!! read more

I set there for over 20 minutes before anyone noticed me. I started to feel like I was being treated that way because I had a shirt on that said I was a veteran. I will never go back to that place again. read more

Service sucked! Would not recommend if you're a color person. They clearly saw us but chose to ignore us while the 3 workers just stood there talking and laughing. Not a friendly atmosphere for color people! read more

We came to the Cambridge MN Applebee's for happy hour . Had to take home for later, Called to inform the manager (Ken), oh my, horrible customer care. We ordered chicken quesadilla, they were spicy. Ken's response queso is spicy we had quesadilla's, not dip. Stated spinach dip we had to throw, bad taste, Kens response did not have any complaints on Friday. We can now understand why this restaurant has only 2 stars in reviews. We will never come back. Poor, Poor, Poor read more

Had dinner in Cambridge tonight. Food was fine, grandkids loved their appetizer. Hubby and I split the 8 oz sirloin. Daughter loved her lemon chicken! Service was excellent. Plenty of servers. Place filled up by 6:30 and some waiting for tables. read more

I ordered car side to go. When I got home I realized part of the order was missing. I called Applebees to tell them I was missing part of the order. The manager I spoke with was very apologetic and offered to send a $15.00 gift certificate through e-mail. I provided my e-mail address and was told it may take a few days. Two weeks later no gift certificate has been sent to my e-mail. I will never order from this restaurant again. read more

very good food very good service. Nice atmosphere. Nice and clean. Will certainly visit there again.

My friends and I were excited to learn that Apple Bee's was open for Dine in. One of the worst dine in experiences I've ever had. We had a 6 pm reservation which worked out however we were sat at a booth that was probably the warmest spot in the whole place but nothing else was available. We got our drink and food orders in right away but waited another 40 minutes before someone checked on us. Our beverages were empty and we had not received our appetizers. Bad reentry to dine in! read more

Hadn't been there in 2 years because of always getting raw burgers. Received a gift card so decided to try action. More raw burgers. At least the staff have always been friendly. Maybe see if they can fully cook a burger in another 2 years. read more

Inconsistent food temperatures. Sometimes when you go there you get excellent service the next time we go service is substandard. You were definitely judged on how you look... such as, you are judged how well you will tip. When I received good service I give a 40% off because I know that the staff are not paid very well. I purposely do not dress up to go to Applebee's because I do not see the need. It's past time my hot Food was barely warm and my cold food was warm. read more

Went to eat here for the first time since moving here. Food was God awful. Gave them a second chance. Food was made wrong. Sent it back, gave me a new order that took an extra 25 mins to get, still charged me for it and had to take it to go since my family were all done eating. Complete shit. We are giving our gift cards away. Won't be back. read more

First time there in Cambridge. Easy to get to. Great parking. April took care of us with very professional and friendly service. She even suggested some ways we could save money on our order, which was a first for me. Clearly she has customer-focused skills. The good was fast and it was very tasty. We'll be back. You should try this place of you haven't already. You will be happy you did. read more

No matter how many chances I give this place, it most always disappoints with their food. Went again tonight and ordered fajitas because who could screw up something as easy as fajitas? Paid $18 for fajitas and the beef was almost unchewable. The tortillas were dry and super chewy. There really wasn't that much meat; mostly only a hump of dry rice. Chicken and shrimp part of the fajitas were good. Another thing is that I got free chips and salsa with the $9.50 perfect margarita. It was a small portion of little pieces of chips, while the guests immediately to the right of us who had perfect margaritas had a huge amount of lovely chips. So that sucked. There really aren't that many choices up our way. I wish Applebee's would work harder to be a better establishment. read more

Extremely slow service and mediocre food. Went there for the first time a few weeks ago and they forgot our appetizer altogether. Took 10 minutes for the server to take our drink order and another 10 before it made it to the table. Burgers were OK, but with Culvers next door I'll never brother with one again. Went back last night and same slow service. At one point 2 servers were arguing next to out table who should take our table, they must have decided neither one was as it took 5 more minutes before someone else took our drink order. I had a burger again, I could do better myself with little effort. My wife opted for a steak which was terribly dry and chewy. Spent over $80 after a few drinks for wife, myself and our daughter for a meal I would apologize for if I served it to friends. Will not be back. read more

Came in tonight.. Shouldn't have. Got sat right away which was great! 10 minutes later we were greeted. Server was lacking self awareness. He made us uncomfortable and was not the best at his job. Doesn't feel great saying that, however maybe with more training in time management and customer service he will be competent. Host/busser had great personality! Order was not rang in for over 10 minutes after we ordered (you can tell on the tablet). Drinks came to table 30 minutes after we sat down (maybe 20 guests in entire restaurant). Seemed like they had been sitting there.. Food came out slow and cold. This surprised me- only because the manager was present on the floor. My mother had asked about each item on her "sampler" if it was spicy (white high can't hang)- server said no. She couldn't eat any of the food. Mine was really cold- but I ate it. At the end, pressed the "alert server" button to order dessert to-go. Another waitress came over. She was much better, blonde girl. Dessert was great, just ate it now at home. Would go back to bar top for a drink. Would sit in the hosts section (promote him!) or blonde girls! But I would never want to be served by that guy again... read more

Super mediocre food here. I like to come for half price appetizers but I could get better food if I went to Walmart and bought some appetizers to cook for myself. Step up your game Applebee's. read more

My family and I went to Cambridge Applebee's a couple weeks ago and our waitress was very awful. She stood behind the bar talking to her co-workers instead of helping us or the other guests, no one could even get her attention so we just asked another waitress if she could help us and she gladly did. I just went there yesterday again hoping she would've improved but nope. Still hung out by the bar yapping. She also didn't give me the right food so that was lovely, ended up getting my right food but it still wasn't that good I guess. I really wish I could give a good review but man was the service awful. read more

Went in for lunch at 2:30 didn't leave until almost 4:30. Like most reviews on here the service was painfully slow but the food was okay. The waitress asked if we would like our appetizers first? She said it with such conviction it was almost like she actually believed our appetizers would come first. I would like to call her a liar, but our apps did come before the meal... About two minutes before and they forgot one. So basically, don't expect fast service, don't even expect good service! Just know that you probably could have gone somewhere else, but where else would you get chicken fingers, burgers, and sub par Pasta at elevated prices? Oh wait... read more

I recently went out with a friend a few nights ago we got a table right away which was nice, we both ordered waters for our drinks and when we finished them we were sitting there waiting for our server to refill our glasses, she did not check in on is once, I had to flag down a different server just to get our waters refilled, the service was slow and my fries were cold which was my least favorite part because I'd been thinking about fries all day. read more

This place isn't great at all. Every time we have been here, we have had rude servers who not only took FOREVER to both take our orders and to bring us our food after ordering- but the food here is worse than any other Applebees we have been to. The food here is not worth the bill you get at the end of your meal. No way. Not much else to say about this place. read more

My parents decided to visit for the day and we thought to go out since it was our favorite place to eat. The host was very sweet and helped with any concerns we had. My mom has MS and struggles a lot to remember, reading, and making decisions. Once we got sat the waitress came and both my mom and I ordered two perfect margarita and my boyfriend ordered Mt Dew/ Mellow yellow. My mom and I got ours right away and my boyfriend didn't gets his drink. The older waitress with bright red lipstick and blonde hair came to take our order and she wasn't so polite when my mom was trying to pick sides for her meal. She raised her voice a bit at her and told her to look at the bottom. Once we ordered she immediately just walked away with a rude look on her face. We got our food and my boyfriend still never got his drink until we had the tab arrive. My bourbon chicken and shrimp were way over cooked and tasted dry and burnt. Everyone else didnt have a problem with their food. read more

I feel bad about doing this because my family owns a small business in Cambridge MN. In the beginning of June my husband and I stopped by Applebee's. Everything that could go wrong did. Usually we have good survive and our server is very attentive. I ordered a drink I finally started walking to the bar to find out what happened to it, the server then brought our food in a timely manner. I had steak my husband had shrimp he asked for the ketchup and I realized I would like some steak sauce. I looked around didn't see her I but new she would be back to see how things were. To my surprise she didn't come back so I thought you know I can eat my steak with out A1. So reached for my knife it was a butter knife. At that point I still don't see the server and I get the manager. She was MORE the great she comped the whole meal! Was not expecting that. We decided to buy $100.00 in gift certificates for graduations. If your still reading we went back last week. Same meal great server you could pinch the grease from the shrimp and the fries tasted just like the shrimp. We do not want free bad food I want good food and service. The last time i visited this returaunt they seemed to be having trouble with a few of the customers. They are usually always slow in bringing out the food and messed up my order from my last visit. I would suggest new cooks. Probably wont come back if i had to pick where to go out. The waitresses have good customer service considering the slow and not accurate cooks. read more

Went tonight to celebrate a birthday 4 of us 2 meals were ok the other 2 weren't - 1 was for a bacon BBQ cheese burger with BBQ French fries hardly any sauce on burger and no BBQ on the French Fries when staff was asked we were told that that was the standard amount allowed on burger wth?also the staff brought out a cup of BBQ seasoning for us to sprinkle on the french fries. the next meal was for sirlon steak (well done) with garlic mashed potatoes and garlic green beans The steak was not well done or even med well no garlic on mashed potatoes and the beans were cold and chewy (they did have garlic on them) this meal went back three times and they did take it off of our bill but one of our group went home hungry the meal was no better after coming back to the table three times. The waitress was very sorry and so was the manager but they could not get the food right and after three tries we weren't willing to sent it back since everyone else was done eating .
