Had a great early dinner at Side Work. The food was great, we ordered a bit of everything and shared. All kinds of craft cocktails. Service was fast and friendly, many servers working together to ensure everything was good and timely. Although SW has been open for a while, the environment is Tellluride-hip and up-to-date. Also, SW has several sister restaurants in Telluride.

This was a new place to try for us! It'd been raining off an on and we were staying up in Mountain Village. We came down to Telluride a bit early and went ahead to the restaurant. Our reservations were for 6 and we came in at about 5:40pm and they seated us right away. What a lovely atmosphere! Such a beautiful space! It's a nice small space with lovely decorations and details. We had a very nice waitress and were pleasantly surprised by a two for 1 entree special until 6! We quickly ordered to get that offer! I had a glass of Tempranillo and my husband had an old fashioned. We started with the hamashi! It was wonderful! I also ordered the watermelon gazpacho - so very good I couldn't stop eating until it was all gone and a bread plate. It's Blue Grouse bread and we got white and wheat. It was heavenly. We ordered the duck and the branzino for dinner. Both were very good and presented very nicely! We did have dessert too! I had the caramel corn flan and my hubby had the key lime cheesecake. I loved the flan! Overall this place is lovely, the staff is friendly and the food is so good. I would definitely come back when we are in Telluride again!!

What a little gem in Telluride. Fantastic service and food. Recommend making a reservation.

Enjoyable meal and experience. The cocktail menu is inventive and interesting. Start with one of those. I had read that their Hamachi was award winning. It was divinely delicious. When I asked, I was told that this dish had won "best of show" during the Telluride Food Festival earlier in the year. I believe it. The Palisade Peach salad was a misnomer. The peaches came from California, Not Colorado, and there might have been 3 tiny slices on the salad. Noting special about this at all. The branzino and couscous was good, not heavy. Was pleased to see the chef serving as runner and taking food out as his team prepared it. Good selection of wines by the glass, good ambience, nice decor, Side Work is clearly worth a return visit.

3.75 stars. Upscale restaurant with high prices (30-40s average and cocktails right under 20s). Service was friendly and timely. Socially distanced seating inside a small dining area. They have pods outside as well. 1. Branzino - Good fish, tasty. The cous cous had potential but was too salty which I assume is from the fish seasoning as well. They offer a fillet boneless option for those who do not like dealing with bones. Overall, a good place for fine dining in Telluride. Menu is on the smaller side but quality dishes.

It's a little pricey but it's a super cozy atmosphere with great food and awesome service. The octopus and oysters were delicious and the lamb was super tender! We ended with the berry cobbler for my boyfriends birthday which he says isn't as good as mine but I thought it was flakey and full of flavor :)

Nice atmosphere and good food, but not worthy of the ultra high price. I objectively draw this conclusion comparing to our other fine dining experiences in town. Cocktail list is creative and wine menu is expansive, but mark-up's on the latter are at least ~300%, which is exorbitant. Service was good.

    Unique and modern vibes.

We popped in here just passing by - we were able to peek through the curtains in the windows and the place looked super cute. We had dinner reservations elsewhere, but thought this looked like a cool cocktail bar to grab a drink beforehand. Turns out there isn't really a bar area to just sit and have a drink, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to take up one of their tables for a bit. Really great hospitality here. The place is intimate and just beautifully done. I love the bar that really showcases the mixologist at work - this was why I thought it was more of a cocktail bar to begin with. It has kind of a speakeasy vibe, in a way. Lovely atmosphere for sure. Since we didn't eat, I can't review the food - but the dishes that came out around us looked fantastic. Our cocktails were on point and maybe the best we had in the Telluride area. If we hadn't had reservations, I would've happily stayed to eat. Side Work is first on our list for our next trip!

Met up with some friends here for a quick drink while waiting for a reservation around the corner. Because of social distancing, we were at at a small table on the street. But hey, it was a table! I has the Bourbon Smash cocktail which was delish. Originally, I was going to get an old fashioned but the waiter suggested the Smash if I like bourbon. It was delish, wonderful mint flavor and not overly sweet. We shared some Sweet Potato Croquettes. I was blown away by how tasty they were! They had a cold consistency with a bit of crisp on the outside. I'm hoping to come back for a full meal here, I look forward to trying more on their menu!

Truly amazing. Only took a pic of the egg. Everything else was exceptional. Bison, short rib, muscles, scallops. Exceptions service. Spectacular cocktails and wine list.

When we dirt entered we were greeted by the hostess and the sweet owner, Chef Eliza. She asked if it was our first time, after stating it was, she immediately told us how grateful she was that we were there. We were seated immediately and offered drinks from their fun drink menu. Nice wine list and their holiday cocktail was delish! Chef Eliza also came to our table to chat with us. She is so kind and friendly. She also brought us an amazing Shaved Brussel Sprout with Pecan Bacon & Apple Dijon, Apple Cider Vinaigrette, Focaccia- Brie and blue cheese... oh. my. Tastebuds! My husband is "not" a fan or Brussels or blue cheese. I had to fight him off for my fair share! Raving review from him. Entrees: Braised Bison Short Rib with Squash Purée and Salsa Verde Squash Relish, Parsnip & Candied Pink Peppercorn Wagyu Flat Iron Steak with Black Garlic Jus & Peri Peri Potato Pavé, Oyster Mushroom, Pickled Celeriac and Crispy Smoked Potato Skin BOTH ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The flavors were blended so well for each thoughtful dish. We are at several top recommended restaurants over the 4 days we were here. This beautiful restaurant was hands down the best!! Ambience. 10/10 Food.12/10 Staff and service 10/10 This is a must eat restaurant.
