I got the jerk chicken cheesesteak and the OMGinger drink. The jerk chicken has good heat, but it's not overpowering and tastes amazing. The ginger drink is awesome with a stiff ginger kick. Definitely coming back. read more

Customer Service by the young lady leaves much to be desired, long day maybe? She seemed annoyed by our presence and inconvenienced having to take our order. Purchased an entree of MacNCheese with Brisket for $17.00. I asked for a side of sauce for the brisket in case it gets dry. We received a laughable 1-2 teaspoons of meat juice in a tablespoon sized to go container. The brisket is thinly sliced and has a nice smoke ring; super tender, no knife needed. It is exactly 4oz of brisket (weighed). The macNcheese was different, used penne pasta with ridges (nice), topped with A LOT of garlic butter, so much so that there was a puddle of oil/butter in the container that had separated on the way home. A solid 1 cup of macNcheese (more butter/oil than cheeziness) with the exactly 4oz (weighed) brisket for $17.00. The portions are insanely small for the price point. Food is fine, but it is Ridiculously Expensive for what it is. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Passing through town in my RV and asked Yelp for a BBQ place. Did not disappoint. Great owner operated business. Had a chat about his trailer and his build out. Great kitchen set up for sure. I had ribs, brisket and meatball. Tasty and a little different from my usual type BBQ. Brisket was a little dry and sliced a little too thin for my taste but fairly good. Ribs had great flavor and just the right amount of "bite" Meatball was spicy and flavorful. Next time through town I'll do some of his other dishes as they looked very appealing but I was looking for BBQ. read more

The best meal I've experienced in Medford to date! A small truck located on S Grape- food is cooked to order and let me tell you everything is made with LOVE! There's a great menu but today I enjoyed the smoked pork belly Mac n Cheese with the hibiscus tea! The creamiest Mac, slow cooked pork belly that I enjoyed with a house made habanero bbq sauce. Portioned enough for two but I indulged and made this lunch and dinner! The hibiscus tea was a refreshing treat as it about 85 degrees today. There is one picnic table available to enjoy on site. Once ordered you can opt to wait in your car and they'll gladly bring out to you. The staff is friendly & every interaction I saw a smile & some type of connection/ conversation being made. I enjoyed the food and experience so much I made sure to let them know. He was very appreciative for the feedback and invited me to please come back on my next trip. Absolutely will! $16/ pork belly Mac $6/ hibiscus tea read more

This food is next level. The quality is outstanding and the service even better. Sid is the best ingredient by far here. The time he takes to select each ingredient and prepare the food fresh in front of you tells you a lot about a person. He loves what he does and you can taste it. Stop by and have an amazing meal and great conversation at Sids Smoke-n-Grill. read more

Amazing food! Best brisket preparation that I've ever had. New location- 218 W 6th in Medford is near the old listing but easy to find. Every dish we tried was both new and comfort food at the same time. Simply perfect! read more

Excellent food. Sid is friendly, personable and provides a thorough explanation of his various food items.

Great bbq with a slightly different take than all the typical sugary bbq sauce. It was a great experience. Also, I don't like Mac n Cheese typically but I loved the flavor and texture of this Mac n cheese. read more

Normally very particular about flavor on Mac and cheese. The brisket Mac was not only the best meal I've had in Medford in 3 years but also the best Mac I've had at a restaurant. The brisket is favorable and melts in your mouth, the cheese sauce is multi-dimensional and rich (but not too rich that you don't want to eat the whole thing.) read more

Sid is amazing. He is one of a kind to bring this type of food to Medford! I love everything on the menu. It's hard to choose a favorite but definitely worth to try everything! read more

This is an interesting place and location. It's right in the heart of an industrial area, it being the lonely and only living thing for blocks. Strange. His smoke shack is stainless and super clean, and the area around his shack is clean and inviting, as is his outdoor smoker. After ordering the brisket, pork belly and rice, he offered to bring it out to my car. So far, 10 out of 10. Lost points though by not telling me there was a Door Dash ahead of me, then, instead of hustling it out, had an engaging 15min conversation with said driver once he showed. Lost a point. The brisket was to die for. Melt in your mouth die for. His specialty sauce is great. Porkbelly was great too. He advised on a dark sauce for them. Wow. Japanese style rice. Just meh. Why not cajun? Yellow with capers? Anything other than this odd mesh into his non-japanese menu. Over all. Great bbq. read more

food is awesome, and the service is great. I've recommended this place to pretty much everyone I know.

The food is amazing! Probably the best beef brisket sandwich I've ever had. You also have to get the mac and cheese with pork. Oh. My. Gawd. The pork was so tender. We will be back. So so yummy! read more

Are you fucking kidding me!!!! Ordered thru DoorDash. We ordered the Sid's cheesesteak and I'm from Philly so the bar is high, it's an 8 folks. The main was Mac and brisket, "AMAZING " and last but not least the beans. So yeah, amazing food. read more

Great food and syd is very nice, definitely a need to try. The hibiscus drink is super refreshing

Just amazing always has always will be! The brisket Mac and cheese is my favorite item on the menu.

Visiting Medford. My daughter brought home takeout from Sid's. We got the pork shoulder, brisket, Mac and cheese, corn chowder, potato salad and some kind of beans. Everything awesome to great, the potato salad was a bit mayonnaiseie and loose. I like mine more firm and potatoie. But the flavor was great. I like the fact the food was savory and not sickening sweet. And if you're counting calories, the stay clear, because everything here is super rich and tasty. I don't particularly like corn chowder, because most are too sweet for my savory taste. This one was also a bit sweet, but it was awesome. I loved it. And finally the BBQ sauce on the side was the best I've ever had. Just right amount of sweet and savory, and spices to compliment the great flavor of the seasoned meats. I love this place and would definitely go again. Highly recommend. read more

Very delicious and owner was conversational and cool. The Mac & Cheese was prepared with care and very tasty.

Melt in your mouth brisket over a bed of the creamiest savory rich macaroni and cheese, you'll slurp this menu item and dream about it for weeks. So very delicious and the owner is always so friendly, hard working, and puts quality into his food. read more

Came to Medford for the night and expected to eat traditional American food, nothing special. But then I came across Sid's Smoke-N-Grill. This food was absolutely amazing, to say the least. Brisket was so tender it melted in my mouth. Japanese fried rice with pork-belly, to die for. I was so stunned by how delicious this food was that I plan to come back here, not to visit Medford, but to eat from this small run business. What's even better than the food is Sid himself- he truly is the secret ingredient! read more

amazing food! from out of town and this is over the top! out of the way a bit hard to find for out of town - but i totally recommend. i will be back for sure read more

One word: Amazing!! When we arrived we were greeted with kindness & positivity. First time trying and we are beyond impressed. I got the smoked pork sandwich with jalapeño cheese bread and it is incredible. The potato egg salad was also a must. My boyfriend got the cheese steak sandwich and side of beans. The flavors were amazing and unique. It's a little hidden gem but absolutely worth it. 10/10 recommend! read more

Thank god someone who knows how to actually make bbq! And hell yes for bringing more diverse food to the rogue valley! Highly highly recommend this. Nothing on the menu will disappoint. And he is always more than willing to make food for customers even once they have closed. read more

So look, please understand that I rarely ever leave a bad review, especially when it comes to a small business. However I must be honest and say that our meal that we ordered via delivery service was "terrible" and uneditable. We had order a few items. Our main meals were the "bbq and fried rice" and a couple sides of beans and potato salad. I will start with the rice. The portion size was ridiculously small, barely filling a bottom of a small, side order sized Styrofoam clamshell. Then there was maybe 2 ounces of dry, unflavored chicken sitting atop some seriously old dried out rice that must have been reheated in a pan with a ton of oil or butter trying to "bring it back to life" and get moisture back into it? It didn't work and the bottom of the clamshell had about a 1/4" pool of grease in the bottom. So then I tried the beans....terrible and they had a funky smell and a peculiar sour taste to them. Like they were spoiled? Those were inedible as I didn't wanna get sick. The potato salad wasn't terrible but nothing to write home about...I will not go any further as I think I've made my review and opinion. I do not know anything about the man who owns it. I will say that I am a Culinary school graduate and have cooked professionally off and on for 25 years so I do know what I am speaking about. My tastes buds and observations are very good. I do hope the owner is able to adjust and be able to learn from any constructive criticism. Of one acts like they know everything then you will most likely fail at whatever your doing in life. So again, I wish the man well, by no means am I trying to disrespect or belittle the man, its just a review and what my experience that evening was about. read more

SIDS IS THE BEST! please go out of your way to try it. The owner and wife are amazingly sweet and funny and to top it all off they're food is tremendous! I eat here all the time! Brisket sandwich off the hook! Rice I can never get to because my siblings eat it to quick! Their hibiscus is ridiculously good! Love this place! read more

I'm leaving this review on both of this business' pages. Terrible service. Work as a door dasher. Only one person besides me there who also was door dashing. I walked up and said hello to the guy working and was immediately told me to wait upon arrival, and ignored me, after waiting about 7 or 8 minutes I tried to ask how long a wait to expect before the order was ready and he began to cuss me out and told me to either leave or wait for however long he'll take. I will not be eating or delivering with this business again. read more

All I wanted after a hard day of work was some hearty meat and Sid's blew me away. I have never had a more perfectly prepared sandwich. We had the brisket philly, the pork sandwich, Mac and Cheese (with real béchamel sauce) and the "beans" which are out of this world. You can taste the love and various flavors and spices from around the world. The ratio of fat to meat was impressive. Every bite was savored even by our toddler. Everyone was satisfied and happy for about $30! We will be back. Often. read more
