Customer Service by the young lady leaves much to be desired, long day maybe? She seemed annoyed by our presence and inconvenienced having to take our order. Purchased an entree of MacNCheese with Brisket for $17.00. I asked for a side of sauce for the brisket in case it gets dry. We received a laughable 1-2 teaspoons of meat juice in a tablespoon sized to go container. The brisket is thinly sliced and has a nice smoke ring; super tender, no knife needed. It is exactly 4oz of brisket (weighed). The macNcheese was different, used penne pasta with ridges (nice), topped with A LOT of garlic butter, so much so that there was a puddle of oil/butter in the container that had separated on the way home. A solid 1 cup of macNcheese (more butter/oil than cheeziness) with the exactly 4oz (weighed) brisket for $17.00. The portions are insanely small for the price point. Food is fine, but it is Ridiculously Expensive for what it is. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Passing through town in my RV and asked Yelp for a BBQ place. Did not disappoint. Great owner operated business. Had a chat about his trailer and his build out. Great kitchen set up for sure. I had ribs, brisket and meatball. Tasty and a little different from my usual type BBQ. Brisket was a little dry and sliced a little too thin for my taste but fairly good. Ribs had great flavor and just the right amount of "bite" Meatball was spicy and flavorful. The best meal I've experienced in Medford to date! A small truck located on S Grape- food is cooked to order and let me tell you everything is made with LOVE! There's a great menu but today I enjoyed the smoked pork belly Mac n Cheese with the hibiscus tea! The creamiest Mac, slow cooked pork belly that I enjoyed with a house made habanero bbq sauce. Portioned enough for two but I indulged and made this lunch and dinner! The hibiscus tea was a refreshing treat as it about 85 degrees today. There is one picnic table available to enjoy on site. Once ordered you can opt to wait in your car and they'll gladly bring out to you. The staff is friendly & every interaction I saw a smile & some type of connection/ conversation being made. I enjoyed the food and experience so much I made sure to let them know. He was very appreciative for the feedback and invited me to please come back on my next trip. This is an interesting place and location. It's right in the heart of an industrial area, it being the lonely and only living thing for blocks. Strange. His smoke shack is stainless and super clean, and the area around his shack is clean and inviting, as is his outdoor smoker. After ordering the brisket, pork belly and rice, he offered to bring it out to my car. So far, 10 out of 10. Lost points though by not telling me there was a Door Dash ahead of me, then, instead of hustling it out, had an engaging 15min conversation with said driver once he showed. Lost a point. Visiting Medford. My daughter brought home takeout from Sid's. We got the pork shoulder, brisket, Mac and cheese, corn chowder, potato salad and some kind of beans. Everything awesome to great, the potato salad was a bit mayonnaiseie and loose. I like mine more firm and potatoie. But the flavor was great. I like the fact the food was savory and not sickening sweet. And if you're counting calories, the stay clear, because everything here is super rich and tasty. I don't particularly like corn chowder, because most are too sweet for my savory taste. This one was also a bit sweet, but it was awesome. I loved it. And finally the BBQ sauce on the side was the best I've ever had. Just right amount of sweet and savory, and spices to compliment the great flavor of the seasoned meats. One word: Amazing!! When we arrived we were greeted with kindness & positivity. First time trying and we are beyond impressed. I got the smoked pork sandwich with jalapeño cheese bread and it is incredible. The potato egg salad was also a must. My boyfriend got the cheese steak sandwich and side of beans. So look, please understand that I rarely ever leave a bad review, especially when it comes to a small business. However I must be honest and say that our meal that we ordered via delivery service was "terrible" and uneditable. We had order a few items. Our main meals were the "bbq and fried rice" and a couple sides of beans and potato salad. I will start with the rice. The portion size was ridiculously small, barely filling a bottom of a small, side order sized Styrofoam clamshell. Then there was maybe 2 ounces of dry, unflavored chicken sitting atop some seriously old dried out rice that must have been reheated in a pan with a ton of oil or butter trying to "bring it back to life" and get moisture back into it? It didn't work and the bottom of the clamshell had about a 1/4" pool of grease in the bottom. So then I tried the beans....terrible and they had a funky smell and a peculiar sour taste to them. Like they were spoiled? Those were inedible as I didn't wanna get sick. The potato salad wasn't terrible but nothing to write home about...I will not go any further as I think I've made my review and opinion. I do not know anything about the man who owns it. I will say that I am a Culinary school graduate and have cooked professionally off and on for 25 years so I do know what I am speaking about. My tastes buds and observations are very good. I do hope the owner is able to adjust and be able to learn from any constructive criticism. Of one acts like they know everything then you will most likely fail at whatever your doing in life. So again, I wish the man well, by no means am I trying to disrespect or belittle the man, its just a review and what my experience that evening was about. read more

We had the brisket philly, the pork sandwich, Mac and Cheese (with real béchamel sauce) and the "beans" which are out of this world.
