After calling for weeks and getting the run around, my father went up to the 84th L location where the truck was still sitting outside which they had told me it was going to be towed to another location (65th L) where they have been working out of due to storm. The next day they magically contacted me and said my ignition module and ABS module were bad. Not once after they did the diagnostics to determine those modules were bad did they bring up the brake booster, which would've showed when they hooked the vehicle to the computer to determine the modules were bad!. Had a prior diagnostic done from the Jeep dealership which the brake booster did not show up as needing to be replaced, only showed lost communication to a module. Took about two weeks to repair. Paid $2500, when I picked up my vehicle all these lights were on my dash which wasn't on there when I dropped my truck off. Brake light, Airbag, and mile odometer was flashing. They advised when I picked up my vehicle that something was wrong with my brake booster, which is connected to the ABS module they said they had to replace. I requested to see the old modules to ensure they were replaced and they were not provided. Prior to this they told me they were having a hard time programming the ABS module. I still reiterated that the lights on my dash were not there when I towed the vehicle to them. They advised for additional $1200 they can repair the brake booster that they damaged.

In which I definitely regret now!! After paying he noticed a huge door gouge on the paint on the drivers door. He called and talked to Paul which was very dismissive and acted like he was the problem never once asking for the truck to be returned so they could take a look at. Only after posting a Review did they at all Care only because they had a bad review, because that affects their business of course. After he wasn't contacted the next day he went into the shop and talked to Paul again, Paul saying that he had to talk to the owner John about resolving the issue which is understandable. After waiting all day for a response he finally got a call from Paul grudgingly saying that they would want the car back to have someone come over and touch up the paint, of course not a body shop but a alignment and wheel shop. He told them that he didn't feel comfortable bring it back to the same people that damaged it and he asked for a actual body shop to do the work of course after explaining that to Paul he said no this is the only way and that's it! They will NOT take care of you! Only grab your money and anything beyond that is not there problem!

We were able to get a same day appointment, they had the parts needed for our sprinter (which is rare), and had the job complete in just a few hours. Thankfully, they also had a garage large enough for our Sprinter (also rare in our experience). They even accommodated our whole family in their waiting room while they worked (my husband, our 7 month old baby, our 2 dogs and me). All in all, we had a great experience in an unfortunate situation. The customer service was amazing and we highly recommend services here.

After paying $200 for their diagnostic, I was handed a 10-page report filled with recommended repairs--but somehow it still didn't tell me why my truck wasn't going into 4WD. Now they want to charge me another $175 an hour just to continue diagnosing the 4WD system. Seriously? I brought the truck in because the 4WD wasn't working, paid $200 for a diagnosis, and left without an answer to the problem I originally brought it in for. To make matters worse, they charged me $25 for a couple gallons of gas because the fuel level was low. I understand gas costs money, but charging $25 for a couple gallons on top of everything else just adds to the feeling that they are looking for every possible way to add another charge to the bill. My experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It feels like Jensen Tire 2.0--nickel-and-diming customers instead of focusing on fixing the problem they came in for. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. If you bring your vehicle here, be prepared for the possibility of paying for diagnostics, getting a long list of recommended repairs, and still not getting the original problem resolved.

So , here we are, a year and a half after Woodhouse toasted the engine of my Ford Explorer…read more Woodhouse never did get back to me, despite several attempts to initiate a conversation on my part. I'vr contacted Ford Motor Company, they were no help. Quart by quart, I've added four cases of oil to my car, until the engine finally failed. My mechanic performed a compression check on the engine and declared the engine dead. I had a shop in town install a used engine in my car with a comparable number of miles to the failed engine at a cost of over $4k. I've given Woodhouse 1 star, only because zero was not an option. My car had no mechanical issues, burned no oil, until I took it there to replace the water pump. There's a reason Woodhouse has under 4 stars. I wish I had checked YELP first.

I'd also avoid calling them dishonest or saying they "ripped you off"; describing exactly what happened lets readers reach their own conclusion. Here's a firm but fair version: I really wanted to have a positive experience with this shop. The communication was great, and everyone I dealt with seemed very genuine. In fact, a friend in the industry described them to me as "not the cheapest, but fair and not crooks." Unfortunately, my experience with their pricing left me extremely disappointed. I was charged approximately $3,100 to replace one headlight, including labor. I questioned the cost of the part at the time and was told that was simply what it cost. However, when I submitted the claim to my insurance company, they actually called me to confirm that I had only had one headlight replaced because the cost of the part was roughly double what they expected. My claims adjuster then contacted the shop directly and was told that there was a 128% markup on the part. The shop would not adjust the price, and as a result, my insurance company would not reimburse me for the full amount. I understand that businesses need to mark up parts and make a profit, and I don't expect any shop to be the cheapest. But a 128% markup on such an expensive part, especially after I specifically questioned the price and was simply told that was what the part cost, does not feel fair to me. We live in a small community, and I believe we should be able to trust and support our local businesses. I appreciated the communication and professionalism I received, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Based on the pricing and the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this shop and would strongly encourage others to compare parts pricing and ask specifically about markup before authorizing expensive repairs.
