Fantastic instruction, particularly from Ms. Pat (the owner) and her seasoned highschool-aged…read moreassistants. Absolutely zero complaints regarding the value of lessons here. My issue, however, is with the abhorrent waiting area & lobby. With as many families and children who enter and exit the building, there is zero excuse not to have built a larger more accommodating front lobby. Kids and teens kick off their shoes and leave them EVERYWHERE while the lack of seating forces some parents to wait in the car (keep in mind, there is only curbside parking unless you leave your vehicle across the road in a CVS lot). I wish they could knock out a wall, reduce the size of the main studio or figure something out. Again, not much thought was put in to this aspect of the facility. While I stress that the actual instruction is outstanding, there is very little organization when it comes to ushering students aged 3-6 in & out of their lesson. This age requires guidance and direction, but in between classes is a free-for-all. Instructors should retrieve, line up and lead their students into whichever area they're heading to. Given the aforementioned situation with the waiting area, it'd be a huge help in reducing some of that front lobby chaos. Ms. Pat is incredibly knowledgeable, kind hearted and direct with both her staff and the families who attend. It's a great studio, especially for first timer little ones and I recommend DDA to anyone seeking options for dance. Just be aware of the surrounding factors listed above and you won't be as surprised/frustrated as I've seen some parents be.

I could write a book about this place. But to sum up:…read more They are very unprofessional - their classes do not start, or end, on time. Not a single parent will complain or even ask about this. There is a very obvious fear among them that if they were to say anything perceived of as negative, the teachers will take it out on their child. They play favorites with the dancers (on this they will merely claim that I am disgruntled or that my child was not at the top - neither of which is true) Parents become unpaid labor as they are pressured to "volunteer" (if a company that's been around as long as Taylor Dance has and can't afford to hire employees, something is very wrong at the top. They very plainly do *not* have the safety of the children in mind and are clearly out for making money only. At the height of the pandemic they did not mandate masks until pressured by the city to do so. At least two of them contracted covid during one wave and were mysteriously missing. One for a week, the other for even longer. Every single parent knew they had covid, but to keep the money flowing Taylor Dance kept it hidden. Special note: When they get a bad review online, they send out emails to the parents asking them to rush and post good reviews to counter-act it. These good reviews are not real. They are from parents trying to please the owners to secure a better standing for their child. I could go on, and maybe I will when I have more time. Final note: There are far more professional and far more caring schools to choose from

It can be hard to keep the attention of young toddlers but the instructor handles it with ease. It is hard to find toddler dance classes so I was thankful when I found one where not only are they good at what they do but it's also fun. A bonus is that they allow the two year olds to participate in the Spring recital which is absolutely adorable!

Was seeking a local gym for classes while visiting the area and came across this place not too far…read morefrom the hotel that we're staying at. So happy I did! Drop in rate is 10.00 per class. A variety of classes are offered 7 days a week but unfortunately this past Sunday's were cancelled due to some special event they had (website's schedule is up to date). To book a class is super easy; choose which class you want and it tells you how many open spots are left. You pay via credit card and receive an email confirmation. Upon arrival you just go to either of the studios where the classes are held. I booked a spin class and the instructor came up to introduce herself and asked my name and said she saw it on her roster. As for the class, it was very good and the instructor (Jill) was super nice and chatted with her a bit after. Facility is very clean and the bikes were in excellent condition. The only con is it is very hard to find as there is no signage indicating where the center is located (you see the theater upon arrival). I stopped and asked what appeared to be some city road/construction workers and one was able to give me directions. Saw the building with a huge parking lot and assumed that was it as I saw some people going in who were in workout gear and carrying gym bags. Once you initially find it you are good to go and know what/where to go.

It's understandable that they need to raise the rates but it's more than a quarter higher than what it initially used to be. In addition to that they're charging a $40 nonrefundable enrollment fee. All these cost combine make it un affordable for the majority of people in the city. I can see increasing the rates but to add a $40 enrollment fee for something that takes the lady behind the desk 30 seconds to issue. Your enrollment fee is ridiculous. I will be seeking my membership elsewhere and it's such a shame because the facility itself is beautiful, although I'm also frustrated with staff that they don't enforce handwashing or wiping down the machines after use so increasing risk of staph, Mrsa, and other illnesses and disease
