Was seeking a local gym for classes while visiting the area and came across this place not too far…read morefrom the hotel that we're staying at. So happy I did! Drop in rate is 10.00 per class. A variety of classes are offered 7 days a week but unfortunately this past Sunday's were cancelled due to some special event they had (website's schedule is up to date). To book a class is super easy; choose which class you want and it tells you how many open spots are left. You pay via credit card and receive an email confirmation. Upon arrival you just go to either of the studios where the classes are held. I booked a spin class and the instructor came up to introduce herself and asked my name and said she saw it on her roster. As for the class, it was very good and the instructor (Jill) was super nice and chatted with her a bit after. Facility is very clean and the bikes were in excellent condition. The only con is it is very hard to find as there is no signage indicating where the center is located (you see the theater upon arrival). I stopped and asked what appeared to be some city road/construction workers and one was able to give me directions. Saw the building with a huge parking lot and assumed that was it as I saw some people going in who were in workout gear and carrying gym bags. Once you initially find it you are good to go and know what/where to go.

It's understandable that they need to raise the rates but it's more than a quarter higher than what it initially used to be. In addition to that they're charging a $40 nonrefundable enrollment fee. All these cost combine make it un affordable for the majority of people in the city. I can see increasing the rates but to add a $40 enrollment fee for something that takes the lady behind the desk 30 seconds to issue. Your enrollment fee is ridiculous. I will be seeking my membership elsewhere and it's such a shame because the facility itself is beautiful, although I'm also frustrated with staff that they don't enforce handwashing or wiping down the machines after use so increasing risk of staph, Mrsa, and other illnesses and disease

The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, and casual. The season had started but Lisa, the instructor, and the other students were very accommodating in helping us catch up to where the rest of the class was. Lisa is an excellent instructor too - lots of experience, great at explaining things, and very patient. All things we really needed haha. We were worried that we wouldn't be able to catch up, but it turned out to be okay! We had a lot of fun, both at the barre and even learning some choreography from a ballet we both recently saw. There were all levels of students, but each level seemed to be catered to just fine even though we were all mixed in together. Some exercises were adjusted for the different levels and we could do what was comfortable for us. I've taken other adult ballet classes that have been great too, but if you're looking for something doesn't require commitment, this is ideal. Most of all, you really can't beat the price. Recitals are an option (though we have decided not to perform haha), and there are other adult classes too. We're both really excited for our next class and also to check out some of those others soon!

Absolutely horrible. I enrolled my 4 year old daughter in this program. The teacher, Miss Lou,…read morewas nice and that's where the positivity ends. They changed her dance program 3 weeks before the recital. Not just the moves.. they changed the entire song. And since this dance was so simple compared to the other (better) dance, they also made all the girls learn the words and sing the song as well as dance. If I had wanted singing lessons, I would have enrolled my child in a singing class. The dance they ended up with was chaotic, unprepared and not "ballet" in the least. But what do you expect when a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds are given a grand total of 1.5 hours to learn an entirely new song and dance? Sure they looked cute in their tutus but not one knew what they were doing for the majority of the dance. Besides that, they have horrible customer service. There is no break in between classes and no one available for questions so if you dare to have a question or concern (as I did when they changed the song), you are interrupting the next class to speak with someone about it. And forget trying to get ahold of someone on the phone. I called a few times throughout the season to let them know of an absence, ask a question or find out about a snow day - no one ever answers and no one ever calls back. This place is a total rip-off. Get the girls in, get the money, teach them a few moves that look like ballet, then change the song and just have them hop around and call it a recital.

Dave was friendly and knowledgeable, leading the group on a virtual tour of some, but not all of the exhibits. The tour was accessible via Zoom. The event was captioned which helped a great deal. I found especially interesting the cultural artifacts attached to immigration, the Titanic stories - over 150 Arab passengers with only 29 surviving... and the discussions centering on what common ties that the various nations within the Arab world hold, and the significance & contributions of those things to the American experience. I learned quite a lot and really look forward to visiting in person some time. I'm posting several photos which I hope are useful to those who couldn't make the event, and hope it encourages visits.

Comprising three smallish floors covered by an impressive-looking dome, the place is appropriately embedded in an area full of Arabic people and businesses. The shopping center adjacent to this building offers an abundance of free parking, but there is a moderate charge to get in. There is certainly enough history and imagery to excite the mind. Several of the exhibits focused on anecdotal accounts of what this or that Arab American accomplished, which I am of mixed feelings about. Sometimes the specificity is compelling, but other times this approach seems to undersell the broader social history it hints at. The museum is quite clear about separating Arab culture from the Islamic religion, noting that all of the Abrahamic religions come from the same region. It takes some stabs at things like Israel-Palestine and 9/11, but they aren't the sole focus of the museum. I walked out thinking that as with most museums, this one would have been well-served covering only the distant past and putting a moratorium on exhibits about recent events as their attempts at contemporary relevance seemed to be much less intelligent than those covering earlier history. There were also a lot of the sort of vague generalizations ("Some immigrants did this! Others didn't!"). But looking past its flaws, I found the museum to have enough thought-provoking content to be worth a visit.

She has no patience and arguably doesn't fulfill the role of a driver instructor nicely. Her method of instructing is COMPLETELY different than Rick. She is very cut and dry, no sympathy, and does not take kindly to nervous drivers. Rick however, informs the driver clearly and kindly on what they are expected to do and he even adds a nice little "You got this! It'll be okay!" type of touch. Maybe her passive aggressive way of instructing works with some drivers... Who knows! I just know that Rick is a great instructor and I would recommend him gladly to anyone who asked!

Blanzy driving school is absolutely awful, please I recommend anyone to save their money. I came to take my road test today following the address they have posted on Google and it took me through a neighborhood to someone's house-which I think is where the owner of the school may love and accept over the phone booking at. However this is not where the actual testing site is!! This place is an absolute scam that they have running in a random parking lot behind businesses. They literally do not have an actual establishment besides the home in which I believe the receptionist or one of the head instructors is using. I know many people have complained and here I am to add to this especially to the instructor I spoke with today. I was so excited to take my road test finally and do it somewhere in my area but...Blanzy is not the way to go at all!! It is an older Arab lady who was extremely rude. I was late to my appointment because they have the wrong address posted and she proceeded to yell at my mother and I to reschedule even though we were simply trying to explain they have the wrong address posted for their Google profile. I didn't even take my test because she was already testing 2 drivers in the same car!!
