Honestly pretty good during happy hour! You get 10% off certain rolls and there's a deal with beer as well. The fish is pretty solid. The nigiri was on the pricer end of things. The service was p great during the night. Overall, a good place. read more

Wow yum! The sushi here is soft, fresh and delicious. They use purple rice which I love. Service was fast and workers were so friendly, giving us good suggestions on what to order. I also got a 2 piece which was delicious but not pictured. Place has a good amount of seating and lots of parking available. I'd revisit and try their other rolls! read more

I don't know what has changed here but this is the second meal in the last 4-5 months that has been awful. Ordered a pork egg roll (received 0), 4 shrimp egg rolls (no shrimp just cabbage), steamed dumplings (sauce has too much vinegar or fish sauce to be edible), black pepper chicken (ok not the best) and Mongolian beef (that was all onion with a few pieces of grey meat). Oh and they sent the free general tso's. We also received a shrimp lo mein that wasn't ordered- that was just meh. Delivery was great, love Door dash- food was still piping hot. All in all the food sucked and we wasted $75. It went in the trash. Should have gone out. Sorry we won't be returning read more

Takeout only. No tables inside. Listed as Thai, Japanese and Chinese. The lunch special was nothing special. General Tso's was well fried but the sauce was overly sweet without any heat to it. Also, long wait for someone to take my order even though they weren't busy. Lunch special was one choice of food, rice and an egg roll for ten dollars. There is only about a 50% chance of getting food that tastes decent. Last order, and I do mean last order, the fried rice was so terrible and gross that no one could eat a second bite. It was nasty. When I called, I was told that I was wrong and could get my money back if I drive all of the way back there, instead of tending to my still hungry family. We ordered for delivery via Grub Hub and was delivered in timely fashion. Veggie fried rice, teriyaki chicken skewers, Sushi rolls, curry green chicken, garlic chicken and chicken pad Thai were ordered. So was a shrimp egg roll. And brown rice for one the entrees. Everything was packed nicely in the box. Along with a copy of the order. The egg roll and brown rice were not in the box, but, we were charged for the items. The biggest problem with any establishment offering delivery, and I'm not talking about the couriers, is incomplete orders. All said, the food was very decent and plentiful. The salmon with the sushi, however, "tasted old" according to my daughter. We'll get another meal or two from the leftovers. We may order again from Sichuan Taste via Grub Hub. It's not absolutely horrible, but this definitely isn't my first choice for Chinese in the area. I don't get more ambitious here than lo mein, because I'm not sure that anything fancier would be cooked correctly. Definitely rundown inside and could use a good cleaning. I've never had any negative interactions with the staff and their delivery has always been okay. Just don't expect five star food or service here - you won't get it. Last order they got an item way wrong. We kept trying because they are nearby and my wife likes their lo mein and wonton soup. They keep sending free General Tso chicken bathed in a sauce that is too sweet and soaks the chicken. Chicken in sweet and sour was hard. Waiting now for delivery which is way overdue. I ordered the sesame chicken and was very clear I wanted it without spice. When I picked up the order it was chock-full of red pepper flakes and was so spicy it was inedible. I threw it out. They said they would replace it and when I called to get the replacement order they said I had to have the old order to turn into them which they did not tell me when I called to complain.I threw it in the trash which is where belonged since it tasted awful. They then refused to honor replacing the order that they screwed up. I will never use them again because not only do they not follow directions but they don't honor their commitment to replace something they screwed up in the first place. read more

I don't care if you're dying and nothing is open in the area- do NOT eat here. Most recently they undercooked the shrimp in shrimp and vegetables and both my kids got sick. The broth in the wonton soup was the color of teriyaki sauce. Before that the driver wrote his own tip on the credit card receipt after I gave him a cash tip. Delivery was on time with everything we wanted and because they ordered so much food they threw in an extra meal and drink for free. I got the general Tsos chicken and it was great. This place is awful. It is bland. It is dirty. There are dead roaches on the floor. People routinely come in with 5 kids and let them run wild around the "dining area" (I put it in quotation marks because nobody actually eats here - the dead roaches are enough to turn anybody off), knocking into you while you're waiting for your food. The food is bland and tasteless - they even make a bad chicken and broccoli. How can you go wrong with that!? AND THAT ISN'T EVEN THE WORST OF IT ALL... THEY USE SPLENDA. Their orange chicken sauce has a distinct aftertastes of ARTIFICIAL SWEETNER. It is DISGUSTING. The only reason I've ever gone here is because the super Oriental Star closed down and I'm too lazy to drive to Lu's Ding How Orchid Garden, and it's so bad, it's not worth coming back. I'd rather drive the extra five miles or so there and back and spend more at Ding How because it is VASTLY superior. This place would've been substandard in the 70s, that's how bad it is. Splenda. I moved to the area a year ago and have ordered from this place three separate times to give them the benefit of the doubt; because they're always delivering to our apartment complex and leaving menus. I think they're always delivering here because there isn't a whole lot of Chinese food places in the area. Anyway the first two times I just thought we got bad batches; the "spicy" shrimp meals weren't very spicy and the "fried rice" didn't taste or look fried, it looked yellow and weird. I ordered again just now and got chicken instead of shrimp and the chicken smells like ham and had the weirdest texture, and again the rice is yellow. I think we're done with this place and I'm sad because I really wanted to like them. read more

Everything was "you get what you pay for", in a good way... like I didn't feel like my money was wasted or it was overpriced. I wanted some slightly greasy (yummy) Chinese food in my cheat day/hungover day and it fulfilled that. My boyfriend and I tried the sushi, soup, shrimp toast, and a few entrees. They gave use a free entree and a soda, too. Not sure why, but it was a nice surprise. Everything on the order was correct and the delivery man was friendly, fast, and didn't get lost or anything. Sichuan Taste - Please please save your money - Chinese Near Me - Cockeysville, Maryland

Unfortunately, my initial good thoughts about this place lasted less than a year. I had prematurely referenced Sichuan Taste in a positive light, at the end of my review for Szechuan House Restaurant, back in Dec. 2014. Since I had just moved to the area, my experiences then, with local restaurants, was still quite limited. The reasons I waited to write a review are 1) wanted to give Sichuan Taste a chance to redeem themselves, 2) was just so fed up by, yet again, another bad Chinese carry-out, didn't want to bother writing another review. However, after getting sick, as well as, being overcharged on our last order, I felt I had to warn others. Not necessarily in order, but listed below, are the negative experiences I could recall, from the past 12-15 months. Interestingly, these all occurred after management changed and the front desk was suddenly staffed with an extremely rude, and obnoxious female. She actually forced me to put her in her place! Unbelievable! 1. Noticed after getting home, about 2 miles away, that one of the items in our order was wrong. When I called to have them Deliver to us the correct item we actually ordered, since they screwed up, the obnoxious female tried to blame me for not knowing what I ordered! Are you kidding me?! 2. Went to pick up food and was about to drive away, when I noticed that they gave us the small (pint) instead of the large (quart) that we ordered and paid for. When my fiance went back to get it corrected, the rude female told him that was the large portion. I would have gone in myself, but we were already in a rush to get somewhere. Once I got a hold of a pint glass, I poured the contents of the "large" container into it, and to no surprise, the pint glass was barely three quarters full! Wasn't even enough to fill THEIR small container! 3. When we ordered Shrimp with Cashew, we knew they would likely add vegetables. I asked the rude female what vegetables it came with, and she stated water crest, along with a couple other vegetables. Since my fiance and I didn't like the other vegetables, we asked if they could be substituted with water crest. She obliged......or at least we thought she did. Although the dish is called "Shrimp with Cashew", what we got instead was a container filled with water crest, maybe 10 shrimp and even fewer cashews!! 4. After only one bite of weird tasting, sesame chicken, my fiance was thoroughly ill the rest of the day. 5. Ordered a large Beef with Broccoli. It smelled fine and looked as it should. But, Oh...My...Lord...the beef tasted like it had expired! Needless to say, I spent the rest of my evening hugging the porcelain throne. It's unfortunate, because our initial experiences, prior to the management change, were fine. Since then, we thought we had finally found a great place, China Moon, on Ridgely Rd, Lutherville. Once again, we were proven wrong. If you want the following, then this place is for you! 1. High blood pressure or 100lb water weight gain. Unless you specifically request "light on the sauce", your food will taste like it was cooked with an entire 26oz container of salt. 2. 90% broccoli when you order Beef with Broccoli or Chicken with Broccoli. 3. Over-cooked meat I'll elaborate further in my China Moon review.....whenever I get to it. I honestly would luv to be able to write a raving review about an awesome Chinese carry-out establishment. Rude when they answered the phone. This was the worst pad thai I have ever had in my life. Completely flavorless. Same goes for the spring roll. More than half of it went into the garbage. I would have been better off getting Taco Bell or McDonalds for dinner. Never again.
