Excellent, caring place. Definitely recommend. Open…read moredisclosure, I, myself, am a psych therapist and go here for my own medication mgmt and therapy. Dr Mitchell (psychologist) is, by far, the best therapist I have ever had. She's grounded, practical, and despite a heavy case load, was willing to add me on in a pinch when I was going through a personal crisis and needed therapy services. Dr Astrada (psychiatrist prescribing meds) is a sweet man, simple and straight forward. The office is beautiful, immaculately clean, and organized. The front desk staff always remember you and take the time to work with you. They do have issues answering the phones at times, but this is the nature of this type of organization. The volume of calls that come in are quite excessive (as observed by me in the waiting room and comparing to the clinic where I work), and sometimes calls cannot be returned right away. However, I have always gotten a call back promptly. I highly recommend this place and you'll love all of the mosaic artwork. Dr Mitchell ROCKS! :D

I have always shown up 10 min. prior to my appointment, and sometimes was left waiting for an hour to be seen. When I called to reschedule my appointment, I left 2 messages on that day. The following day, I called 4 times, leaving 3 messages. Still no one called me back. I used my daughter's phone and called and they answered on the 2nd ring to tell me to walk in the next day, and be there early b/c they only take 5 walk-ins. I have children, go to school, married and live on the other side of town. This is a complete hardship for me. I am changing counseling. I cannot believe this is a place to get therapy.

The valet attendant, Sherrill, was very pleasant in handling our valet request and wished us a safe visit. Once we got to the department, we were checked in and given the discounted parking validation ticket to retrieve our car after our visit. We were called for the procedure within 10 minutes after the appointment time and greeted by a pleasant staff person, who led us to the procedure room. The type of care that was provided was satisfactory and made us feel "seen". The care quality was good as well during every step pre- and post- procedure. All in all, a nice pleasant experience at this hospital, if your insurance covers procedures at this hospital.

I recognize that the mental health industry is swarmed right now with waiting lists everywhere, especially for psych evals, so I don't mind the approx 2 month process it will take for me to get the results etc, and actually find it to be more beneficial IMO for it to take the necessary length of time needed to be thorough and accurate etc. I just had my virtual intake with Lauren M. and she was so nice and kind, made me feel very comfortable talking about some heavy topics, and was very thorough. Great experience and I am looking forward to my testing day. Will update with anything further, but has been a great experience so far. It is a hefty cost if your insurance does not cover it- luckily ours does, but that is something to keep in mind. There was also a wait list, but I would say that is across the board in mental health care right now.

In my experience, Dr. A is nothing short of extraordinary. It is incredibly uncommon to find a healthcare provider these days who not only possesses an unparalleled level of clinical expertise but also radiates deep and genuine compassion for every patient she encounters. Quite literally every moment of her day is dedicated to healing, supporting, and advocating for those in her care, and she does so with unwavering commitment and the highest level of professionalism. I am astounded by the sheer breadth of patients she cares for with undeniable mastery. Her clinical judgment is razor-sharp, her intellect unmatched, and her ability to connect with patients on a profoundly human level is simply exceptional. She doesn't just treat symptoms--she sees and connects with the whole person, taking the time to understand their fears, hopes, and needs with empathy, immeasurable kindness, and one of the warmest smiles I have ever seen. Dr. A gives her time, energy, and expertise without hesitation. Again and again I see her go above and beyond to ensure her patients receive the best possible care. Her dedication inspires me, and her approach is one I can only hope to emulate when I become a practitioner. In a world where compassionate healthcare providers who are genuinely invested in your wellness are few and far between, Dr. A is a wonderful anomaly. I could not recommend her more highly and encourage anyone who is looking for mental health support to schedule an appointment with her. She is a treasure.
