The new premises is spacious airy and clean and seems to have hada really positive impact on the staff who are all really helpful and friendly. As it is a store in its own right now, you can purchase all the usual post office supplies as well as newspapers and magazines.and there is even a free cash point outside! What more could you want?

Smaller post office that is far less crowded and far faster than the main one on St Andrew St…read more Staff are helpful and knowledgable. Really efficient and much more pleasant. No self service machines just real people who are friendly and happy to help with questions and even with prepaid returns. Note that it's in the back of a convenience store, so can be missed, but seriously much less chaotic and worth the walk to avoid the long lines over on St Andrews. There is also a great ATM on the outside of the shop that doesn't breakdown half as often as the ones on the main tourist path.

I swear this is like the Post Office of the future…read more There are no queues here. Instead, you take a ticket, and get to sit on a leather seat in air conditioned comfort. You just relax while fiddling on your phone, writing Yelp reviews or something, and then when your number gets called you go up and they sort out whatever you need to do. The result is a relaxed atmosphere and staff who seem happy, and therefor treat you well. They are keen and happy to help, and the post office offers all the usual services you expect. Harinder considered our age and explained the cons and pros of the application system and chose the safest system to apply and receive. He was very knowledeable in that field. He also advised us not to travel with out a travel insurance, and to my wife about a life insurance for six pounds. We were very happy with the service. It's spacious, clean and bright, with a reasonably sized sales area selling stationery items - the queue goes through it, so you can browse while you are waiting. Service is pretty reasonable - the queues here don't seem too bad, and move fairly quickly, and the staff are generally friendly. Christmas is the exception though, when you may have to wait 15 minutes. It's always better first thing in the morning. Services include everything you'd expect from a large branch - Royal Mail, Licences, Bureau de Change, Insurance and various other offers from the Post Office (though these are mostly available online too). There's a bus stop just outside with a wide range of services.
