It's very popular with old people, so can be a bit slow, but is way better than the scummy post office in Cherry Hinton. Use it or lose it! Only downside is that they don't do car tax. The staff are happy and talkative and seem to know a lot of their customers by name, which is nice to see. It's also worth popping into Balzanos delicatessen next door, which is superb. They keep Euros in stock too which is useful.

Now, it's been two months, and every time I return to the post office, they ignore the fact that I sent my parcel through them. They don't care or provide any further information. I've lost an estimated £200 worth of items in that parcel, and they make ZERO effort to help me or take any responsibility for it. Simply disappeared with my parcel and do not give any further information. DO NOT TRUST THEM! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR VALUABLES!

Well some bad news, the Hills Road Post Office (known as St Johns Post office) has had to close in…read morethe last month or so. While still running a small shops which survives on the students cravings for sweet from Hills Road Sixth Form Collegejust next door, the post office is now gone.
