Smaller post office that is far less crowded and far faster than the main one on St Andrew St…read more Staff are helpful and knowledgable. Really efficient and much more pleasant. No self service machines just real people who are friendly and happy to help with questions and even with prepaid returns. Note that it's in the back of a convenience store, so can be missed, but seriously much less chaotic and worth the walk to avoid the long lines over on St Andrews. There is also a great ATM on the outside of the shop that doesn't breakdown half as often as the ones on the main tourist path.

Now, it's been two months, and every time I return to the post office, they ignore the fact that I sent my parcel through them. They don't care or provide any further information. I've lost an estimated £200 worth of items in that parcel, and they make ZERO effort to help me or take any responsibility for it. Simply disappeared with my parcel and do not give any further information. DO NOT TRUST THEM! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR VALUABLES!

Well some bad news, the Hills Road Post Office (known as St Johns Post office) has had to close in…read morethe last month or so. While still running a small shops which survives on the students cravings for sweet from Hills Road Sixth Form Collegejust next door, the post office is now gone.
