Hatfield Peverel library is located in the middle of this village, close to Chelmsford. The seventies style, one storey building is set back from the road about half way through the village. Parking is found by the shopping parade to its right.
The library has restricted opening times so it is best to phone before you visit.
The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. I even was served with a cup of coffee and a biscuit last time I was there and they will do their best to help. They are able to order items from libraries across the county.
This is a good library to take small children to browse the picture books without worrying about disturbing anyone. read more
