I had a two month long vacation this summer. Prague was my last leg of the trip and you can probably imagine my body was longing for a nice long massage to get rid of all jet lag, sore legs and shoulders. I wanted the best and am familiar with Thai massages. I requested a four-hand (two therapist work on your body concurrently) 120 minutes massage on their website. Booking an appointment was a breeze. It was confirmed right away. I showed up to the appointment. Payment was made at the front desk prior to receiving the massage. They take all major bank cards. Receptionist told me which room to go into. Two therapist came in and gave me a minute to remove all my clothing. Once I was on the massage table and covered in towels, the massage began - one for my upper body and another for my lower body. To my surprise, the therapist who worked on my lower body walked out TWICE for an extended period of time without telling me any reason. You bet I was disappointed. The woman who was massaging my shoulder told me the other lady was hungry/need food or something like that. There was a bit of language barrier. I was like OK. Not pleased but what could I have done? She came back in after 20 min or so. Her pressure just wasn't there. She was only rubbing my legs with lotion. Then she walked out again. Meanwhile the upper body massage was quite good. Two hours went by. I gave a generous tip for upper body lady, said thank you and left. The lower body lady was nowhere to be found. I'm now back home, checked all foreign transactions and decided I do not want to pay for two therapists while I receive a less than ideal massage. I contacted my bank. A month later to my pleasant surprise I received a follow up email from John the spa manager today. He checked what happened that day and updated me the lower body lady wasn't feeling well and that it wasn't acceptable. He offered to refund me half the cost and invited me for a free massage. Apparently I cannot go back for the free massage but this is the kind of business I want to support. An honest business that stands up for the quality. Thank you JOHN for being an amazing manager. I took off one star because my massage experience was less than ideal. Massage is solid quality if you get a good therapist who doesn't slack. I had never had a Thai massage before, so I didn't know what to expect and the oil massage was AMAZING. I highly recommend Gip, one of the lovely ladies who works there. She was firm but didn't cause pain (in a bad way), more of a hurts so good. She cracked my back with her knees which was pretty cool. She was also mindful of my neck injury the whole time. A 90 min oil massage cost about $50 USD if you convert the crowns. 100% worth it!! read more

Absolutely the best Thai massage I've ever received (and I've had a lot). But let me say I loved it because it was deep and specific. I took my 14 year old daughter who thought it hurt. So I'd say this isn't a JV massage-definitely varsity level. Wish I had gone earlier in the trip! read more

I had a 30 minute foot massage and on another day, a 1-hour Thai Massage. The foot massage was okay, not as good as the one I had at another location where they massaged my head and shoulders. Also, all their massages are on the ground, on a heated pad, instead of a chair. Two major pros of this massage place are every massage is done in a private room and they accept credit cards (but not for the tip). For the Thai body massage, I was surprised to be asked to remove all my clothes except for my underwear. I must have looked distressed because the hostess offered to give me a pair if I wasn't wearing panties. The massage was good, maybe a little too hard. It was difficult for me to completely relax at the end when I was asked to sit up and be stretched (like a chiropractic adjustment) with my towel falling off and my breasts exposed. Maybe I'm just too shy. On the other hand, the massage therapist was lovely and did her best to make me feel comfortable. read more

Great place to work out the kinks before or after a long flight. Here's what to expect. It's down a short passage from the Hilton Old Town and across the street from the Palladium shopping center. You can make a reservation or just walk in. Confirm the type of massage you want and use the restroom if needed. Note that one of the restroom stalls had a shower, so I guess you could shower afterwards if you want. The 1-hour Thai massage with oil cost €36 or the Czech equivalent. Our hotel concierge said 10% is the standard tip, but the smallest denomination we had was 5 euros, so that's what we tipped. You are shown to a room and told to take off everything but your underwear. Lie face down on the heated mat on the floor and cover your back with the provided towel. You can turn on the level of heat you want like y would on a heating pad. There is no cut-out for your face, so you'll have to turn your head to the side. Midway through, the massage therapist will ask you to turn over, and in the last minute will ask you to sit up. Be aware that the towel will be pulled down or to the side while an area is being massaged, including the chest area, and the towel will fall down when you are sitting up. It's a different level of modesty than some people are used to, but just go with it (or tell them in advance you don't want that). When it's over, put on your clothes, step out of the room, and hand your tip in cash (Czech money if you have it, or euros) to the massage therapist and then go back to the reception desk where you can use a credit card to pay for the massage. read more
