I had been treated for Diabetes 2 for over 25 years. Before I came to Dr. Kaur I was sent to different Doctors trying to figure out why I was losing weight. This physician has little empathy, and did not listen to me or my concerns. She refused to contact other providers involved in my care. She had only one idea of how to handle my carr, and then had less than competent NP provide care. I am far happier since leaving her practice, and obtaining services elsewhere. read more

Not even sure where to begin! Unfortunately, this physician does not seem to know much about adrenal insufficiency and gave negligent information to my elderly mother. Fortunately, my mother was able to consult with two additional Endocrinologists who both confirmed her diagnosis and she got the help she needed. Had she followed the treatment plan from Dr Kaur, she very likely would have suffered a sentinel event. Think twice before seeking treatment from this physician, it might be life altering. read more

Chilly authoritarian manner - a doctor unwilling to collaborate to find treatment solutions. She took very little time to review the materials I brought with me or hear about former treatment. She even said that she was unable to compare my last two dexascans because they were done at two different imaging offices. Really Dr. Kaur? Even my pcp could compare them and interpret the progression. She also told me something which is patently untrue - that no endochrinologist would prescribe hormone therapy for osteoporosis. Really Dr. Kaur? I know this is untrue beccause I got the idea of seeing an endochrinologist from a friend whose hormone therapy for osteoporosis is managed by her endochrinologist. When a doctor makes that kind of an outrageous statement I consider it bullying. It fits with her authoritarian demeanor. Apparently she sticks to some well-worn treatment ruts rather than engage with each patient as an individual case. This is not a healer. read more

Dr Kaur has been my Dr for several years. She is great! Always listens and then takes the extra steps to clarify anything I don't understand. (I'm not senile - yet, but am 81). Great "bedside" manners. I'll recommend her to all. Thank you Dr Kaur. read more

After one visit I was at 3 stars, not happy but trying to suspend judgement until lab results came in. My TSH jumped up (in "normal" range but NOT in ideal range for someone on thyroid meds) after switching brands of desiccated thyroid due to supply issues, which also resulted in small doseage decrease. In addition, I've had my thyroid area obviously swollen in sterotypical "butterfly" shape off and on for months/years and when thyroid brands changed the swelling became permanent for few months (confirmed by physical exam by primary doctor). So primary care doctor refers me to Dr. Kaur. Despite providing the requested medication list with dosages, and then re-iterating it with the medical assistant, Dr. Kaur asked for all the info again...while she was starting at my record in the computer. After Dr. Kaur's physical examination, doctor claimed it wasn't my thyroid but just "fatty tissue." Discouraged but not surprised since I'm used to fat shaming from doctors *eyeroll*. I asked doctor where my thyroid was then if it wasn't where the swelling was and they yelled at me "don't press on your thyroid!"and that I needed to lose weight (sorry, but Weight Watchers and Nutrisystem and even keto haven't worked with my thyroid issues)...but doctor ordered an ultrasound and thyroid labs (repeat of what primary did 3 months ago) so I made a 2nd appointment. After new labs at the visit, my TSH increased even more to 3.2 (my ideal is TSH of 2.2-2.4 to avoid symptoms). Doctor's response was "slight variation is normal"...except that's 1.5 times where it was with the other brand / dosage and a consistent increase over time. If doctor is so concerned about my weight, maybe try actually treating my thyroid! I came for help, not pre-judgement. read more

I have been going to Dr. Kaur for a few years now and I like how she is forward with me. I am not going to lie but yes it was hard to listen to her honesty but i would rather get that instead of all looks good answer. It took us awhile to get me back to some normality part was my fault since I was was not use to getting into a new routine. I would reccomend her any time. read more

The medical field is already such a hard field to work with and Dr. Kaur makes it that much worse. Her bedside manner is cold and fairly unfriendly. I went in desperate with years of having thyroid issues and a family history of severe thyroid issues. I told her from the start I needed a doctor that would listen and not always go by numbers and find out what the problem was with me as this is how it's always gone in my family. All imaging had suggested an issue as well as weight gain. Well she is not one of those doctors that listens. She was a complete know-it-all and literally did nothing for me except dismiss everything I said, my family history and only offered that I could have my tests run again in 6 months but she probably wouldn't do anything for me then either. I left defeated. Six months later I had imaging done again. My symptoms are 10 times worse than before and because of her neglect I have many more issues. If any doctor refers her RUN as fast as you can in the opposite direction. She is lazy in her practice and will not give you the help you need. When I was searching for a new doctor I had several people in the field find out she saw me first and refer me elsewhere as they had had personal experiences with her that left them in the same boat which they were upfront about.
