It used to be where the Chipotle across the mall is. Then I believe it was inside the mall. Now it's beside Jack in the Box, the one near the mall. The inside of the store is very clean and soothing. And they have a large counter with so many delicious chocolates on display. They also have loads of already-prepared boxes. What I love is that they will allow you to sample a candy if you want. Staff there is always friendly and do a great job at explaining the candies and helping you make a decision. Probably my favorite candy is the Milk Bordeaux. Other candies I like are: Dark Scotchmallow, Milk Mocha, Milk Molasses Chip and those chocolate balls they sell for special occasions.

The store has super cute decorations in the front and around there candy. They have cute baskets to put your candy selections in and then weigh it at the end to charge you. I really wish they had a larger variety. My favorite part would be the music they played. It was happy and cheerful, which reminded me a little bit of Charlie and the chocolate factory.

Was in Chico recently and checked out the Made in Chico store for some souvenirs to bring back…read more This was unlike any other [Your favorite city] Store. This place was huge compared to the other stores in downtown. It was filled with locally-made items and food from the area and county. There were so many unique gifts and items here. We spent over an hour in the store browsing! My friend and I spent over 5 minutes talking to Patty in the food section listening to her talk about each vendor she personally worked with and knew. You could hear the passion in her voice when describing each item. The scones mix, she explained, took the chef over a year to perfect, the hot sauces, she knew every little detail. She was so knowledgeable and welcoming. In fact, all the employees we interacted with were so helpful. I've had Lundberg organic brown rice many times as they used to carry it at my Costco but I had no idea they made rice chips. One of the other employees said she went to high school with the Lundberg's kids! There were so many things I wanted to bring back home but couldn't. It will just warrant another trip up to Chico in the near future! Thank you to the staff here for making us feel so welcome on our first visit ever to Chico!
