He suggested that the problem was to do with my SSD. He let me know he will repair it and replace the SSD with a new one with more GB over the weekend and install Windows 10 on it and have my system boot up to the new SSD he installed while my old SSD acted as a hard drive so I can transfer old data I had to the new SSD. Got my computer back and I was happy with it for a month as my ram usage was down and it felt like it was performing better. However, my computer started to have the same issues again but it got even worse to the point where I would get the blue screen of death right away after I just started my computer. So I decided to go to Jon's Computer Repair near my local area and I dropped off my laptop there. An hour later he calls me saying that he opened my laptop and checked my motherboard and he found out that the SSD the MIT computer repairs person installed was a cheap Chinese SSD that he does not recognize and the way someone installed it was horribly done and it looks like someone who doesn't know how to repair computers has done this job. He also let me know that the cause of the problem was a RAM issue, not an SSD and I should be using the old and better SSD that I already had when I bought the laptop. So he reverted it back so that my laptop boots up to my old SSD and removed the cheap Chinese SSD. He also cleaned up a lot of dust that was there which the MIT Computer owner never cleaned up even though another cause of the problem was a lot of old dust can overheat the laptop which leads to the blue screen of death. He also checked my RAM and ran tests and removed unnecessary software that was taking up a lot of my RAM. After that, I watched tutorials on how to put a new memory stick onto my laptop and just did it myself and my computer has been performing so much better with no issues. Don't go to this guy since he actually made my computer worse with a low-quality SSD, installed Windows 10, and charged me 180 dollars. Told us he can take either cash or credit but doesn't charge tax for cash (Obviously trying to avoid his taxes). He also asked if I don't use my laptop anymore, he would take my laptop for the parts as he said the hardware quality like memory and CPU was really good. Makes you wonder why he would replace the SSD with a lower-quality Chinese SSD from AliExpress.

How do you tell a great business from the rest? Answer: How they treat others when no one is…read morelooking. A couple of years ago, I was a student working on a research project and needed a few 5-drawer industrial filing cabinets, at the lowest possible cost (limited budget). In my quest, I went to every retailer in town - office depot, staples, heritage, and source - and was told the same tired line - no, we don't do small sales; no, we don't offer discounts; no, we don't deliver; no, you can't pay later; no, we don't have special deals for students ... I was made to feel like I was not worth their time .... get the picture? At my wits end, I went to the last store on my list -- IMPACT Office Furnishings -- these guys were located in "rail town" (commercial drive/ powell area) -- and believe me, I wasn't expecting much (downtown eastside). After I explained my situation, and limited budget, the owner was interested, receptive, professional, and efficient ... he made me feel welcomed. In fact, not only did he offer me a fantastic discount (cost), he didn't ask for payment right away (pay later). The furniture arrived a few days later in pristine condition with a highly professional delivery crew. As soon as I got the funds, I paid in full ... a couple of weeks later. To this day, every time I drive by the IMPACT office furnishings store on Grandview Hwy & Boundary, I think of how altruistic - and willing to help - the owner was. The value of this business comes from their integrity, honesty, and sound business practices that put humanity before profit. Believe me, my other reviews (yelp restaurants reviews) are brutally honest criticisms ... but here, it's nothing but well deserved praise. I highly recommend IMPACT office furnishings - they were there when I needed them, did so willingly, and had no expectation of reward or recognition. Think about this, I am writing this review nearly 6 years after the fact, and to this day, I still remember how well they treated me. IMPACT Office Furnishings - a class act. UPDATE: I checked out their website, and here is their customer testimonials ... universally positive. http://www.impactoffice.ca/testimonials

One of the shitty things about working from a home office is that it makes you realize how shitty…read moreyour office furniture is: How shitty? SHITTY. The saddest part is that I actually spent more money on a bells & whistles 'gaming mouse' than on my shitty $50 non-breathing pleather non-adjustable wobbly chair from Office Depot. Sure it's fine if I'm just spending a couple hours a day pwning n00bs in first person shooters, dribbling nonsense on Yelp and searching for *ahem* adult material, but with my ass virtually fused to this chair after a full day of work, I started hating it. So I got my grown man on and booked an appointment at Impact. I didn't actually end up buying anything there (as I didn't quite dig the selection) -- but the staff were some of the most courteous, professional and knowledgeable salespeople I've ever dealt with. They had a lot more 'conference' chairs (that you buy for peons and visitors) than hardcore tasks chairs (that you buy for yourself and the bosses). It must have been a slow day because I had three salespeople lavishing attention on me. They pulled out chair after chair for me to test - narrowing it down based on my needs, preferences and budget. Apparently, my lazy man recline was *never* the right way to sit. More suited for office managers outfitting an entire office, but a good place to start your quest for the perfect office chair.
