    Tonkatsu ramen

My ramen noodles were undercooked. It was a cold day so I was really craving a bowl of comfort. Service was dismissive, I was eating alone while my friends were at work, and they seated me upstairs way in the back, instead of letting me sit downstairs with a view of the plaza.

    Spicy happiness in a bowl.

Ramen goodness in Munchen's craziness? Yes please!! I came here 3 times in 2 days! I would've done the 4th time if I had enough time. Munich- city of meats and potatoes with all things heavy and meaty. God~ after all that alcohol in Oktoberfest- I need me some carb and spice! Ramen being one of my loves, this place was a given. First off: this place only have 6 tables! Came here for lunch before hitting that crazy Munich's Oktoberfest festival-best idea ever. Walked in right as they opened their doors at noon. Got seated right next to the window. Yey! (Got the take out the night before but didn't get that ramen since it's hard to eat it in the hotel room) Ramen- yummm ramen! yumm yumm! I don't know if it was because I have been traveling in Europe for a whole month without Ramen or if it is really that magical. I'll go with it was that magical! I had their Tonkatsu with a bowl of salmon rice. It was delish! And they gave me peppers. Really spicy peppers. So tasty, I went back for dinner the very same night all hungover post-oktoberfest! Dinner wasn't as lucky. Had to wait 45 minutes for that little table but got seated in the same place. We lost some of our friends in the Oktoberfest and they actually found us here after like 8 hours! Crazy right? (They totally know my crazy love for Ramen!) Had the same spicy ramne, tonkatsu ramen, rice bowls! Service was nice. Only one girl spoke english and she helped us a lot both time. The rest only speak english and german. I would've went to the kitchen and pointed out my food if all else fail but I didn't have to. Overall, this place was my favorite in Munich. Ramen is kind of like water. You can have it pretty much anytime. At least for me anyway! And this place serve a darn good one for me. I'd happily come back on my next Germany trip for a bite or 10 of it :)))

Not authentic. Soup is good, but noddle is not ... when you really miss Japanese noddle you can have a try. Convenient location through

Good authentic Japanese food in Munich. The sashimi was excellent as was the Goma Ae (spinach and seaweed salad). The miso soup was great and the service was excellent. I would happily go back here for a meal anytime.

    Good nigiri

The miso soup was delicious. I had the bento box as well. Would recommend both. Staff were friendly.

Loved this Sushi place in Munich that I found on yelp.com. After a long week of eating lots of…read moreBavarian food, I was craving some sushi. Sushi Sano is a great spot not that far from the Marienplatz area. Great selection of rolls and dishes. I had an assortment of rolls and sushi as well as some dishes such as gyoza and kimchi. Great place! Only complaint (not really a complaint) I would add is that the sushi rice there was just OK. Not as good as the kind in sushi spots back home in Los Angeles.

Bruhs........... Tell me tell you about this place! Ever…read moresince my lil bro moved to Germany he had told me that he hadn't had awesome sushi like in the States. So it was my mission to find some killer sushi in Munich while I visited him in August. Let me tell yah, this place right here... is a work of art! Right from the gecko the moment you walk in, you feel the noise and ambiance of the place. You look at the decor and sitting and you know you're in for a treat. So me and him got down to business, we order a bunch of nigiri and some udon because it was a chilly day in Munich and we need the warm brothy soup they had. The Sake (lachs, salmon) was top notch and the Hamachi (yellowtail) was okay. I tried their Anago which was good and same with the Unagi. All in all this place lived up to the hype and my lil bro now has a sushi place he can call home in Munich . I know for sure I'll be back and the sushi chefs better have a whole salmon for us because they didn't think me and my lil bro could have taken down 30 pcs of salmon in one sitting.
