    Tonkatsu Ramen
    Rebeca M.

The wait was loooong! I mean an hour long. The spot is small so turnover takes a while. I had the Tonkatsu ramen. Not worth the wait. Presentation was great but the ramen was so so. The pork was not tender or juicy, it tasted like it came frozen. I scarf on ramen whenever i travel. Best ramen- japan of course and france! I was expecting so much more after reading such great reviews. It was lack luster. I didn't finish it all. I wouldn't have wasted my time waiting. Im sure ppl find it delicious My opinion simply differs. Staff was friendly.

After living in LA near J-town you kind of expect a level of greatness in ramen. Unfortunately I did not find it in Germany, but Takumni isn't bad. I mean, I'd come here again if I couldn't find anything else to fulfill my warm soup craving, but on the cold rainy night that I came here, it was just perfect. We ordered some gyoza (tasty but small and sooo pricey - 4.80 for 5 pieces) and three different types of ramen (shoyu, and the two specials: tonkotsu and tokuoyo shoyu). They were all pretty good but a bit on the salty side even after we requested two of them to be with less salt. You can order extra noodles which is nice for the guys that need some more substance. Overall it was good but not great. I do wish our US credit cards worked in Germany. Spending 75€ definitely hurt the wallet and increased my ATM withdraw rate (and fees).

This is a good Ramen place but not exceptional as the line outside may suggest. Don't get me wrong, food is good and the (small) restaurant is quite nice. However, waiting almost 1 hour to get a table (on a Wednesday evening) and afterward waiting more than 30 minutes to get Ramen is not worth. Furthermore, it is quite expensive. I had their special Shoyu Ramen which had a very good broth but considering only two slices of meat and packaged noodles (not hand-made), EUR 13.80 is not cheap.

There was a lot of anticipation. I was able to skip about 10 people in line because I was by myself instead of with a group. Still, I watched the chefs make food for about 40 minutes before mine was ready. I was reeeally looking forward to it. It was good, but unfortunately not the best ramen I've had. My favorite is still Totto ramen in New York. Given I haven't had ramen in Japan itself, but I'm a huge ramen fan so I think my taste is worth something. I got the soy sauce ramen, it was a little too salty. The noodles were good. Altogether I give it a 4. Maybe something else would have tasted better.

Good ramen noodles , authentic Japanese folks operating this place ... ordered the miso special which was yummy and I finished all the soup

The best ramen place in Munich! The portions were very big and generous. They costed about 15 euros per bowl. They have a lot of options to choose from. They also have yummy appetizers like edamame and dumplings. When we left, there was a line of people out the door. We went at 11:30 for lunch and got the last table. Will definitely be coming back here!

According to my friend, who is a Japanese food lover and lives in Munich for his whole life, this is the most authentic ramen place in town. And I agree!!! You can sort of tell when you see there's always big line that spread out the entrance.

We got lucky and got here 5 min before a line of people started forming, I will defiantly be back, every things was so good and flavorful.

Salt based Shoyu ramen with a cold Kirin

Takumi is really hard for me to rate because I'm used to eating ramen in Cali. But the ramen here is actually decent and have pretty good firmness. The soup base is also well prepared, my favorite as usual is the salt based. And now for the all important egg and Shoyu..the eggs are well cooked but they always come cold, and the Shoyu is too lean and dry for my taste. Don't get me wrong, it's totally enjoyable and I've been there already a few times. As far as I know it's also the best ramen in Munich which makes me a little sad. But to ask for really authentic ramen in Bavaria is just too much. Place is always packed for dinner and has a pretty good ramen bar feel. So come hungry and be prepared to wait a few minutes to get seated.

I waited for 50 minutes. The waiters don't have any facial expression or passion, seem like robots to me. Maybe they are too busy and tired. The food was only okay to my liking. I've had much better ones. Doesn't worth 50 minutes of wait.

I am a huge fan of ramen and I'm pretty sure this is one of the few ramen restaurants in Munich.

Loved this Sushi place in Munich that I found on yelp.com. After a long week of eating lots of…read moreBavarian food, I was craving some sushi. Sushi Sano is a great spot not that far from the Marienplatz area. Great selection of rolls and dishes. I had an assortment of rolls and sushi as well as some dishes such as gyoza and kimchi. Great place! Only complaint (not really a complaint) I would add is that the sushi rice there was just OK. Not as good as the kind in sushi spots back home in Los Angeles.

Bruhs........... Tell me tell you about this place! Ever…read moresince my lil bro moved to Germany he had told me that he hadn't had awesome sushi like in the States. So it was my mission to find some killer sushi in Munich while I visited him in August. Let me tell yah, this place right here... is a work of art! Right from the gecko the moment you walk in, you feel the noise and ambiance of the place. You look at the decor and sitting and you know you're in for a treat. So me and him got down to business, we order a bunch of nigiri and some udon because it was a chilly day in Munich and we need the warm brothy soup they had. The Sake (lachs, salmon) was top notch and the Hamachi (yellowtail) was okay. I tried their Anago which was good and same with the Unagi. All in all this place lived up to the hype and my lil bro now has a sushi place he can call home in Munich . I know for sure I'll be back and the sushi chefs better have a whole salmon for us because they didn't think me and my lil bro could have taken down 30 pcs of salmon in one sitting.
