If you are looking for real SFX make-up this is your place. They have it all. Not the cheap smearing and expensive stuff sold at basic Halloween stores. I was going to purchase my SFX makeup on Amazon but decided to direct buy here. The price on makeup was about the same as Amazon. Maybe a few bucks more or less depending on the item. Either way, to get it same day and from a local small business was a win to me. The best part was the costumer experience. The lady that helped me was more than accommodating and SO helpful. I needed the Dark Knight Joker costume for my 8YO daughter who wears a small in woman's and couldn't find it anywhere. All I could find is really super cheap versions and I really wanted the Velvet real jacket look. Also, I didn't want the sexy-girl version but rather the traditional men's but in woman's sizing. That's a laundry list of wants- I couldn't even find it on Amazon. Well, the stars must have aligned because they had it. The men's traditional, velvet, real, high end Joker but in a woman's size Small! Now that I know this place exists, I will never enter another Spirit Halloween again. We visited last sunday, and it was fun, to see their inventory, though, it is not as huge as Spirit Halloween stores, but I did notice some affordable options for families, though. It is a specialty/ seasonal/ Halloween store so expect higher prices on popular costumes, though. We were there, along with other families, and to see and hear screaming, running kids, it just makes me more thankful for my child. Also sold t-shirts, located at the front of the store. There were some decorative displays, but again, not as elaborate as the Spirit Halloween stores. The sister store or corporation is Party City. Every store I've been to has been packed with costumes for adults, kids, and even pets. They also have decorations for your yard, like blow-up creatures, signs, and booby-trapped monsters. The staff is usually really helpful, and I love that they can search for inventory from another location if they don't have it in stock. Prices are fairly reasonable as well. I highly recommend them and can't wait to see what they have next year!

Although this location is huge, when I entered the store I felt like the entire store was empty. It was such a drastic change from the Rainbow store that I visited yesterday. They only had a few Funko dolls left. I remember seeing the sanderson's sister Funko dolls. They also only had a few of the Sanderson sister little snow Globes. They mostly had adult costumes. A few decorations in the middle. I honestly didn't see any inflatables, greeters or animatronics. On the way out, I noticed their pumpkin carving items. I don't know if they had a bigger inventory when they first opened or what. The sign on the door said that they'll have 25% off on November 1st and 50% off on November 2nd. I thought to myself what the heck are they going to have left over since they have very little inventory to begin with. :-(

Paper mâché and metal masks galore, beautiful Murano glass jewelry..even lavish costumes that'd be perfect for any masquerade ball or period setting are in every nook and cranny here. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the blonde woman who apparently is quite the craftswoman. She'll put a stick on many of the masks in the store for a small charge - and paint/glitter it to match! I really can't say enough good things about this store; just that it's a must-see when you're in the city that never sleeps!

After checking it, I noticed it had a small tear. At that point, I was already too far to go back, but it was frustrating considering how much I spent. I honestly wish I had just ordered from Amazon instead. The store itself didn't help the experience either. It was messy, unorganized, and felt cluttered walking in. The decorations were very outdated and not what I expected--especially for something like a retirement setup. The employees were just okay. There was a lot of side conversation going on instead of helping customers, although I will say one gentleman who assisted me was helpful and professional. I'm not someone who usually leaves one-star reviews or asks for refunds, but I wouldn't recommend this place--even for last-minute decorations.

It's Across from the Nordstrom Rack and down the way from Trader Joe's Their website has *a lot* of really great stuff too! Spirit has a lot of bagged costumes, animatronics, makeup, masks, press-on nails, glassware and many decor items. There are no fitting rooms; however, you can slip a costume on over whatever you're wearing. The staff members I spoke with were all very friendly. I ended up buying the mask shown in the photo below, The Nightmare Before Christmas shot glasses and tumbler, and a few packs of press on nails. I love Spirit and can't wait for Halloween
