Fastest pedicure I've ever had. It was less than 30 minutes and felt very rushed even though you can see in the photo the place was empty. I could feel the disappointment of my pedicurist when I denied the upgraded more expensive pedicure option through the lack of calf massage and exfoliation that's supposed to come with the basic pedicure. Paint job was okay and she did give me a quick chair shoulder massage while my toes were drying. I've been here twice for regular gel nails. The first time turned out pretty good but the second time, not so much. One nail tech started on my nails but shortly after, this guy (who I assume is the owner) took over and did a terrible job. Second, I have really dry hands and I could clearly tell he was talking about me to his coworkers because he would say something in another language to the person next to me and then they would both look at my hands. I got a gel manicure for the first time here last week and it was the worst manicure I have ever gotten in my entire life. I cant speak for the entire staff, but my nail tech Lili was extremely rude to me. She rushed the appointment and cut me on both of my hands so badly that they bled & she was not apologetic at all. Then when it came to painting my nails and putting them under the UV light, she was physically pushing my hands away from her when she was finished painting to signal that I needed to put them in the light. If there hadn't been a woman getting her wedding nails done sitting next to me, I would have confronted the tech because I have never been treated so badlyat a nail salon on my life, but instead I payed and left quietly. Suki gave me the worst powder dip manicure I ever had! I immediately asked her during the 1st base coat why there was empty space between the cuticle and polish. I requested she bring the polish up towards the cuticles to cover the entire nail. Suki responded that she was going to do a 2nd coat and file it and it would be ok. I was not happy with it and told her upon completion and she pretended to not know what I was talking about. The shape of the nails were also not what I wanted as she made them much pointier than my preference. I asked she keep the original shape but she did not. Suki did only one coat of polish on my French pedicure instead of the standard 2 coats. The French dip manicure and French pedicure cost $100 and I walked out feeling disappointed and ripped off as I could have done a better job myself. I expressed my concern in the salon but it was not remedied which is why I decided to post my rating. I went in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. It was easy to get an appointment on a rainy Friday evening. HOWEVER, Customer service: Poor. I asked for help matching a color from a picture on my phone and they refused, instead just handing me the entire plastic nail selection. Like they work with these colors every day you know what color it is okay, period. I sat for my pedicure while someone started the manicure at the same time, which was not very relaxing. Quality: Painful but decent end result. Pedicure was minimal effort. They cut my fingernail cuticles too short and I was bleeding, which has never happened before. Then they proceeded to wipe the nails with alcohol even with the visible bleeding so it stung. Price: Misleading. Listed as $55 on the board and was charged $59 "because of coronavirus" Coronavirus precautions included masks, temperature checks, hand sanitizer, and rushing me out/putting in minimal effort. Mimi did such a great job on my French manicure. I came 20 min late, but she didn't rush to finish the job. She took her time and was so meticulous about getting my cuticles cleaned up, which by the way, looked horrendous! She gave me a nice French manicure even though I had recently trimmed my nails down to nothing! She's so nice, patient and careful. Will definitely be returning for more manis in the future! Both customer and manicurist wear masks; they take your temperature and spray your hands with hand sanitizer. Wow, I used to come here a lot before I moved into the city. Gigi recognized me and often greeted me and chatted me up. Well I've moved back in the last year (after living across the river for a few years) and it has been awful. I've given them several chances and always tip 20% if not more on the FULL amount even after getting the cash discount. I was excited reading all of the great reviews on this place. I came in last month for a friends wedding to get a mani pedi. My boyfriend got a 30min massage. I liked that they had an autoclave present to sterilize equipment. I got tips applied and did a French powder dip manicure. I also got the spa pedicure. I loved the pedicure! It felt amazing and the woman was very nice. It was relaxing. For the tips and the French powder dip manicure, there was a woman nearby being super picky and very rude. It was distracting and I felt bad for the tech. She had to re-do all of the woman's nails at no charge. Smh. I loved the results of my nails! This whole mani pedi took around 2 hours! Sooo long. I was happy until they told me they charged me incorrectly. I paid $100 and I tipped them $20. They told me I owed them another $30 since they forgot to charge me for something. THEN they hand me my slip and said you can just add it to the tip so we don't have to run your card again. Me being the nice person that I am, I added it and it was a $50 tip. Later, I thought about it and I wish I had just said NO!!!!! It was NOT MY PROBLEM that they charged me incorrectly??? And im sorry, but $150 for mani, pedi, and 30min massage is sooo not worth it. After three visits to three different nail salons, I am happy to announce that I will call Show Nail Spa my go to place! This salon is so clean and the setup was def well thought out. Upon entering, you're greeted by a worker or two and asked what service you would like. If you've never been, take the time to see the variety of things they offer. After that, you're instructed to go and pick out a color and let me tell you, you'll be in nail polish heaven. SOOOOOOO MANY COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM. After all of that, you're seated and the nail glam starts. The salon is extremely clean. They are constantly using new tools rather than sharing among one another which is a huge plus! They also really take their time with your nails and don't seem to be in a rush. There's also complimentary back massage with a mani. I would advise anyone coming to bring cash. Any purchase $35 and over (CASH) will receive a free lip wax or eyebrow wax. Also, cash just makes tipping easier, etc. There are also certain days when you can receive 15% off so I would def try and make it when that's going only. Normally, I would pay $20 for a gel manicure prior to moving to this area. For a gel manicure here you're looking at about $35 on a regulars day and about $30 with 15% off. read more

I came to this salon as a walkin and arrived around 6PM and didn't end up getting serviced until 7PM, seeing them take other clients who came after me before me. I got a pedicure done and they were extremely rough and rushed through the service. The lady doing my pedicure was filing harshly and had cut way beyond my cuticle on one of my toes. She tried to cover the bleeding toe under her glove and kept throwing her used supplies into the water my feet was in. They are unsanitary and reuse various supplies as well. I basically left with my toe still bleeding and gushing onto the toe next to it, polish on the skin around my toes and even behind my toes. read more
