After getting to the store and giving my name and order number, the unfriendly manager told me that the shoes were being shipped to an address I haven't lived at for two years. I showed him the email confirmation that had the store information on it twice and he was less than helpful and kept implying that I got it shipped to that address. The only option was to cancel the order on shoes that are now out of stock. I'll never come to this DSW again. I understand accidents happen but the attitude on this manager is unacceptable.

I particularly love Brooks and haven't bought a pair anywhere else in about seven years because the price is always right. You're not always going to get the latest version, but who needs it when the prices are close to 40% -50% off current retail? My adult daughter residing in the city also shops here now. They have all of the current vendors of fitness shoes for walking, running, cross training etc. They also have very high quality socks, economically priced. When I participated in a drive to supply the homeless with winter socks, I bought a bunch of packs here a couple of years ago. I think it's crazy to pay retail when you have this in Delaware County. I planned to do some internet research and buy a pair, but was persuaded to check out Philadelphia Runner. I was not disappointed. First of all, they actually had sneakers in my size! (I have tiny feet.) Secondly, they were so knowledgeable and professional - they recorded my gait while I ran on a treadmill, pointed out how my feet rolled in on impact, and recommended a pair of sneakers that would help stabilize my gait. We had snuck in right before their closing on Black Friday, but they never made us feel rushed. I've now run about 10 miles in my new sneakers, and I am so glad I listened and bought my sneakers from a brick-and-mortar store. They are eons better than my old sneakers! I already feel a huge difference in comfort while running and have been able to run farther than before. Will definitely be going back when I need a new pair.
