When I needed to talk with Lynns Heating the woman I spoke to was always very friendly, helpful, and contacted me with a reminder of the installation date for the furnace and air conditioner (which I added more paperwork for Josh). The young men, Justin and Chris, who installed the furnace and air conditioner, were both professional, friendly, courteous, and explained in detail what they had done, and answered any questions my friend and I had asked. This company has excellent people working there, and I want to Thank them for all they did for me and I appreciate their assistance and kindness. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs to use their services. PS and their estimate was lower than other companies however their presence and manner made me comfortable, and at ease also which was important to me being a 72-year-old senior. I do think they did a good job, the before and after photos are a nice touch and it was all completed in a few hours. Here's the con and it's a big one: in what world can you receive a quote for $269 and end up paying almost a grand, $950 for what is actually a very small house. I knew there was an extra fee for the anti-microbial treatment, which I agreed to, but am now questioning its necessity as that was an extra $250, so already doubling the price (why??), and then there's this extra duct and opening and extra mains... blah blah blah, and all of a sudden we're looking at $50 extra per - and we ended up having like (apparently) 6 duct openings and 5 mains, only 2 of which were included. Wow. Bottom line, we'll chalk this one up to a learning experience, but would I recommend this company? Not in this lifetime. You can even see the note on the receipt about the vents being dirty... that is what they are being paid for... why write it down? Anyways long story short my mom was charged $1200 for her ducts and sanitizing for her 700 sq ft duplex. I was reminded about what happened as I just had the ducts done in my 1000sq ft home.... Even had microbial sanitizing and dryer vents done.... Final balance of the company I sued? $300. This company scams people regularly and they don't care... check out the Google reviews. I really hope Karma catches up to you.

In most cases, even for a small home, the quoted package does not fully clean all main ducts or cold air returns without added costs and before you know it, it is more than double your original cost. They are aware of this and start upselling as soon as they walk in the door and can be quite pushy. I felt like i was caught by marketing that knows you will need to spend more than quoted. I suggest you get a written quote prior to them starting the work so that you are aware of the final cost. I was surprised by the final bill.
