Convenient location right on I-35 in Sanger. Great new owners - locally owned. Very friendly and so easy to work with.

I recently worked with Container King on a container modification project, and while my experience…read morewasn't perfect, I feel it's important to share a more balanced perspective for anyone considering them. From the beginning, the team was welcoming and genuinely interested in understanding my project goals. When I visited their facility, I was impressed by the scale of their operation and the range of container modifications they're involved in. It's clear they have access to quality materials and are capable of producing solid work. Like many growing companies, it seems they've faced some challenges with communication and internal coordination at times. However, when I was able to connect directly with the right team members, they were transparent, professional, and willing to work through questions and concerns. I appreciated their honesty when something needed clarification rather than overpromising. What stood out most to me was their integrity. In situations where expectations couldn't be fully met or timelines shifted, they handled things responsibly and made sure I wasn't left in a difficult position. That level of accountability goes a long way in this type of industry. Container modification projects are complex, and no two builds are exactly the same. My experience showed me that while there may be occasional growing pains, the company is made up of people who care about doing right by their customers and improving their processes. If you're considering working with Container King, I'd recommend maintaining clear communication, confirming details along the way, and staying engaged throughout the process. With that approach, I believe they can deliver a solid result and a positive experience.

The Container King website looked legit, so I inquired about a bunkhouse container modification…read more Some red flags came up, as the salesperson struggled with downloading attachments that I sent, answering simple project questions, and transferring my wants and needs to a accurate quote. After nearly two weeks, I traveled from out of state to see their facility, choose a container and sign the paperwork. I was shown an impressive, highly modified container ready for delivery that I later learned was modified by another company. They were polite and said all the right thing, so I signed the contract, paid a deposit and went home excited for the project. Communication was the greatest frustration throughout the process, as they rarely replied to my phone messages in a timely manner (48 hours). My email with 4-5 questions would be replied to with only one, incomplete answer. At one point the salesperson admitted that she couldn't manage all of the emails in her inbox. On two separate occasions, I was told my salesperson was on a weeks long vacation, but my project was not handed off to anyone else in the office. Once I asked a question and my salesperson said that she didn't know. I asked if anyone there did know and I was told that no one else was available. I grew frustrated that the service had deteriorated since signing the contract and was told; "I'm sorry that I don't know, but I just don't know". To be clear, these were not tough questions, but rather clarifications of their process and what their completed product would look like - so I could coordinate follow on work and finishing. I sent a CAD drawing of my desired layout with my first email to the company, and offered some flexibility to the fabricator. After our contract was signed, I agreed to pay for increasing the size of two pocket doors, but I made no other changes. I received their CAD layout several weeks later, but their designer made changes that required CAD work to return the layout to the agreement in our contract. They wanted to charge me for the additional CAD work to correct their error. More than halfway through the agreed upon timeline for completion, they wrote to inform me that, "we are just not in a position to be able to do your project." Seven weeks after we began the project, and rapidly approaching my deadline to have a modified container delivered, they broke the contract. Had I lived in TX, I would have sued them for sure. Container King's website states that they do costume modifications, but I would vehemently disagree. They are polite, but they're understaffed in the office, don't have adequate knowledge of their products and processes, and do not communicate adequately. Their attention to detail is nonexistent. Fortunately, they returned my deposit in full and I found an more experienced container modification company in Graham, TX that was far easier to do business with. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a container modification.
