On the left side of the windows you'll see the Spanish names for the meats offered, the right side has the English names. Get the pastor (pork) and chicken, such good flavor! The "head" option is when they roast the whole head of the cow, not sure what that means exactly but I did try it one time, a little too far out of my comfort zone. The picnic tables out front offer cucumbers and radishes to cool down your mouth from the intense hot sauces (green and red), I avoid both cause they're a bit too much for me. The table also has onions and peppers which I load up on my tacos and pico de gallo. Don't forget to eat the sweet caramelized onion offered on each taco purchase! Since this is located on Pleasantburg it can be a heck of a deal to turn left out of here. Make sure you cut through the back road Sweetbriar and across the parking lot of Bi-LO to get onto E. North St instead to turn left easy.

Next time indeed will post pictures, or will try. Truly the aromatic scents of the Chicken Shawarma will capture your senses when you walk in the door of this wonderful merchant. Although I do have an image of my grocery haul while I was there. Bonus there is a Butcher with fresh meat selection if that is your fancy. There is also Lamb and Goat and it is Halal! Service is very professional. The ambiance is that of a locally owned small market. However, there are plenty of international options and fresh produce! An example, my pasta is from both Turkey and France! Do give them a try.

You pay at the register up front. They don't have a dining area. It was very reasonably priced ($10 and change), which is a steal for the portions that they give you. When I got back to my office and opened the box I was shocked at the size of the chicken shawarma, it was a little smaller than a burrito from chipotle. They also give you a good portion of fries, basically filling up the whole to go box. They put some type of seasoning on the fries that is very good, and the sauces and spices they use on the chicken shawarma were amazing. Don't let the location and first impression fool you, the food is amazing. Everything was hot and fresh. The lady that was preparing the food was very kind and polite, and helped me figure everything out since it was my first time eating here. I will definitely be back.

It feels like a soda shop that you see in old movies. It gives you that small town nostalgic feeling where the owner knows everyone by their first name. I mean really, the guy knew the customers who walked in by first name and seem to know them on a personal level. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with my float. And it was decent... toasted white bread with cheddar cheese. Prices were reasonable for sandwiches between $2 - $3. But like I said don't expect anything fancy. Their place looks clean both inside and outside. They sell a few locally sourced items like pimiento cheese and milk from Happy Cow. There's a gift shop where you can buy novelty items. Parking lot is available for customers. And this seems to be a family friendly place to bring your kids for lunch and some ice cream.
