Yes, at times customers are greater in number than cashiers...that is a universal problem. However I have found the staff friendlier than most stores. Courtesy on the part of a customer can make a big difference in a store clerks reaction, even when they just had a bad experience with previous customers. As far as the available merchandise, it's one of the best Marshalls stores I've visited. I no longer live in Spartanburg, so I'm shopping other locations. Several have far less than than this location. So when I visit Spartanburg and have time, I will make a stop at Marshall's. It is the thrill of the hunt, and I'm not often disappointed.

All the aisles are well marked with special signs indicating gluten free and organic items. Check out the floral/plant department...never seen such a selection in a grocery store. Don't want to cook tonight? Stop by the all ready prepared pizza, chinese, meat and three hot bar, fried chicken, salad and wing bar or have them make you a fresh sub with Boar Head meats and cheeses. Heck, they even have a milk shake machine!! Love the bakery. Used to drive all the way to Hendersonville to Harris Teeter for their English toasting bread. Now get it from Ingles. I call the day before, they bake it fresh for me and it's so much better than Teeters. The cashiers and baggers are super friendly and there doesn't seem to be much turnover. The manager has been there for over 10 years. Obviously Ingles knows the value of keeping a good manager in one location. Shout out to Xavier, the meat market manager! So helpful and always has a minute to stop and chat!

I've never waited so long for a 1lb of Boar's Head Ham. The guy behind the counter, even though he was slow, was trying as hard as he could to take care of the customers ahead of me. My complaint was that the girl behind the deli case kept her back to the customers and kept cleaning on a slicer. I know that they need to be cleaned, but I think the customers should come first. I got home with no deli meat and now have to head to Publix deli to get what I want. "F" recommendation for the Greer Deli.

We walked around to find our items and then we were ready to check out. The store was well stocked and there was a great variety in the store. Upon checking out, we placed our items on the counter. I bought my son two plates and a bowl. She carefully wrapped his dishes as if they were a baby being carefully swaddled. I didn't mind because we had to travel with them and then carry them up 3 flights of stairs. We paid in cash and we left. They do accept credit cards. It was a nice visit and we will more than likely come by again when we are in the area.

It's the second time in two days that I visited this type of store. You can take a blue shopping bag or a cart. You bring the unknown boxes to the back opening station for the employees to open boxes and packaging for you. Mondays: $2 Tuesdays: $1 Wednesday Closed Thursday: $8 Friday $6 Saturday $4 Sunday Closed The carts are actually functional which I didn't expect considering what I see in most grocery stores. The store for the most part is tidy and clean. Lighting is good. There's music playing. Staff are friendly and nice. Wednesday is the most expensive day. You really come here to pass time and get random stuff that you may or may not need. Today there were a bunch of interesting things worth trying for $8. There's definitely ample parking here. I thought it was fun, personally, since I have never been in one that was newly stocked. So what did I find?
