I had narrowed down to a few choices, and I asked for suggestions and the bartender hopped over and lead the way, and talked about several beers with me (after the usual "what kind of beer do you like? question... which for me is, "yes, please."). She gave me excellent suggestions, and I moved from a 4-pack (you get a discount) to a (more discounts!) 6-pack. They have a GOOD selection for the North Market. It's not the best in the world, and it may not beat a place near where you live, but if you're in the North Market, and you want a good beer and good vibes in a little corner? This is clearly the source for craft beer, either to buy and take home or enjoy a glass on premises, even with a few tables outside. While I wasn't able to stay to have something on tap, there were plenty of people there after 5pm on a Monday. With at least four doors of cooler space dedicated to craft beer, the floor was divided up between beer and wine. Specifically on selection, you can be sure to find options from around Ohio and brands with more national distribution. I saw a variety of Mad Tree (Columbus) cans, a few 750 mL bottles from Rockmill Brewery (Lancaster) and since it was summer I got a six-pack of Revolution's (Chicago) rosa hibiscus ale. The Beverage Source doesn't look like much on the outside, but the convenient location off highway 16 makes this an obvious option if you are in the area, be it for a night or simply passing through.
