He takes the time to answer all my questions and dive into things I don't understand. One thing I really appreciate about him is his honesty. I came to his office after a bad experience with another dentist. The other place wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount for a cavity. When I got his opinion on the cavity he laughed and told me what they were doing was unnecessary and more of a preventative measure. He said what the other place saw was very early signs of a cavity. He told me if I continued to take care of my oral hygiene, no cavity would come from that spot. I love the dental hygienists here too. There is one that always makes me laugh and feel incredible. She compliments my teeth and always picks the best flavors for the polishing toothpaste. The woman at the front desk is sweet and quick. She finds the best appointment in a matter of minutes. Quoted me for services without "taking the yearly limit into consideration," as she, "often doesn't take that into consideration." (Her words in quotes) Originally, scheduled for three appointments. After first I had to go back for SIX bite adjustments. After second appointment, Laura explains I will need to pay an additional $600 dollars to finish. Original quotes was $800, new one in middle of service was $1,400. This was a result of her not considering my plans yearly cap.....and filing my claims out of network. She did eventually refuse in-network. I refused to pay the increase and was generally unhappy with my treatment. I left with three cavities needing to be filled on my left side. Next dentist disagreed. Only one of the cavities had broken through the enamel. I was able to stop the other two by flossing properly. New dentist also said with the amount of filling in the tooth (the one I had to go back for six times), they would have capped it. The only reason I didn't give it one star, was because I liked the Dr. I hope he can address the issues and fix his practice. Wife, whom had been using him 26 years, was disgusted by the treatment and was very sorry for recommending him. She has been very happy with Dr. Rusnak's practice and I'm very happy with Dr. Oley's.
