They were very quick to respond - but I was out of town and did not see his written estimate for a day. More than $6,000 - when I reviewed the estimate in detail - I see he wants to do a full mold remediation for the entire basement - over $3,500 for this process. The water was in the area for 12-24 hrs He was very pushy to my wife - that she has to sign and they have to get started. What a rip-off I called him on it and about it. His first response was "I quit- I'll pick up my equipment" His men were at my house for less than 1 1/2 hrs - I have cameras. First he said - " don't pay me I'll pick up my equipment" 10 air blowers to dry a small area - he had already picked up all the carpet- a cement floor - it's dry - 10 air blowers I said your over doing the job Then he reduced his price $3,000 I said your ripping me off He acquiesced- gave another $1,000 off While I'm talking and waiting for his paperwork via email -he goes to my house - enters the house without permission or any supervision- alarm goes off and scurries to get his equipment. I called the police - TRESPASSING-I don't know what else is missing. Still waiting for credit Not a good man- not a good company- I guess he thought I was a pushover. I guess he thought - if it was insurance - he could get away with it. Terrible - they did come recommended- but I would tell past customers to check your bills. Totally overrated Call me if you want to discuss I also think that he knows the people giving him good ratings on Facebook and other social media - and tells them what to write BE CAREFUL or never use them

It was super busy the few times we were there but staff was super helpful and they took my ornaments behind the register, packed them up and whisked me to register to quickly check me out when I was finished. I've been back a few times since and salespeople are always extremely helpful and nice, giving great advice on how to style something or suggesting items that I may have overlooked. Grounds are exceptionally beautiful and it's a great stop to make if you need a last minute gift. Very disappointed with Johnston's customer service and do not recommend this company. I don't write…read morereviews but I felt with the lack of sympathy this deserved to be shared. I called Johnston's to schedule a cleaning about a month ago, notifying them that my housekeeper called me saying that my renters had made quite a mess so far on the dining room chairs, dining room rug and couch. I pre-scheduled them a month advance to come clean up when the renters checked out as I had another renter checking in two days later. I called them the day before just to confirm my appointment and telling her all 8 dining room chairs were filthy as well as the rug and this was a semi-urgent issue as I cannot rent out the house like this and told them I would like to schedule them for the entire day as they would need to stay until the job is done. "The lady who always answers the phones" said she allowed extra time for my house. The next morning I got called to work for an emergency surgery so when the company showed up at my gate they called my cell phone and when I didn't answer they left. I called back 30 minutes later when I was able to use my phone and the driver didn't answer. I tried him three more times then called the company's main number back and received nothing but attitude and blame. The lady said the driver cannot return to the house he was already on his way to another job, even though I booked him for the entire day! I felt 30 minutes was not a big deal to cancel the day and he could've at least knocked on my front door as there were people in the house waiting for him to show up. The lady was going to call the driver and see what he could do and see if he can come later in the day, yet she never called me back to check on anything or give me an update. I felt like if I had booked an appointment a month in advance AND also told her it was semi-urgent the day prior that they could've tried a little harder to knock on my front door (climb over a 4-ft fence) rather than call my cell phone and leave! Long story longer, I will not call again.
