If you are not in a big group you don't get to seat at the table. All other areas like walls are taken over also. I bet teachers have plenty of room in their cozy lunch room. When kids need help teachers are not even willing to answer e-mails back. English teacher Mrs. Velez doesn't grade all the work, so grades are lower than they would if all the work would be graded. Teachers like Dubel and Amon are friends so they spend literally half of the time talking to each other, going to each other classrooms, leaving the kids alone playing computer games or do nothing. Some teachers simply don't explain material well. Do I need to say more? It's endless.

It is a mystery why the principal sent her child to public school instead of her campus but that speaks volumes and has not helped morale. High percentages of faculty quitting, surf club, gardening club, lab rats, summer school, galas, dances, continue to be canceled or non existent for lack of participation. It is so horrible. My daughter is about to enter middle school and I am so sad that fifth grade is almost over....She has been here since Kinder.....She is fluent in Spanish and it feels like we are in a private school the way that everyone here acts toward one another...JUST LIKE FAMILY...I am actually disappointed that I chose to send my almost 20 year old son to our home school....a little late for that. It's so crazy these people who come into our city and they treat us like we don't know each other and that we don't talk to each other. These people don't even live here. They never grew up here. Choosing San Clemente Christian School has been one of the best decisions we've made for our…read morefamily. Our daughter has been a student here for three years now, and the transformation we have witnessed is nothing short of amazing. We've seen her confidence soar and her academic skills sharpen, but the most rewarding part has been watching her faith and understanding of the Bible deepen. It is clear that the passionate teachers and staff are not just educators; they are mentors who lead with their hearts and a shared faith foundation. A few things that really set SCCS apart for us: * Small Class Sizes: The individualized attention our daughter receives has been so good for her growth. * Safety & Security: We have peace of mind every single day knowing the SCCS team fosters such a safe and secure environment. * The Community: The social opportunities for both students and parents are incredible. It's a place where family values are celebrated, and we've built lasting friendships with other families who share our values. If you are looking for a Christian school in San Clemente that feels like an extension of your home and community, we cannot recommend SCCS enough. It provides the perfect balance of a curriculum and a supportive, faith-filled community that truly prepares our kiddos for the future.

***This review is for parking use only***…read more The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) held a pickleball tournament at Lifetime in San Clemente during the last week of June 2024. My brother, my daughters, and I got tickets to watch the finals championship. They have very limited parking so the pros, participants, and guests had to park at San Clemente High School and be shuttled to Lifetime. It was only a few minutes drive over from high school to Lifetime so it wasn't bad at all. This year's choice of parking was a whole lot better than last year in 2023. When we arrived at the high school, there were no parking spaces available near the front of the school... sorry, all taken! Luckily, we drove around the corner and found some additional parking near the back of the school. Whew! I am grateful we got a parking spot, otherwise, I wouldn't know where to park that day... maybe on the streets, huh? Shuttle service was very prompt in picking up people and dropping them off. Thank you! Thank you San Clemente High School for lending out your parking lot for the PPA pickleball event! You're the best!!
