This school is very nice, clean, and the school students and parents were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The event itself was well-organized, and each school band performed on the school's impressive football field. Thank you, San Clemente High School, for being such gracious hosts and sponsoring a very successful event.

For once we felt that our uniforms were not enough protection to manage this cold environment. It was a kind of sign showing how this school would be, described as "nothing special" by many pro performers. This fog loomed over our efforts towards climbing the ranks towards first place. Although I expect us to be pronounced the most excellent of all of these bands during our awards ceremony, there were many aspects that we did not enjoy at all about this high school. "A lot of poles," describes just one element of this school's design which we found puzzling. Bathrooms were difficult to navigate to and with the bitter cold around us, we were left with more time shivering, wandering through halls hoping to find a glint of warm light around each corner. Next, the situation during our beautiful show which we have spent countless hours and, some would say years, perfecting. The field was slippery. It seemed as though we were ice skaters on a rink, but with a lack of our skates. The ice was melting and attempting to ruin the whole of our performance. Odd houses set on high dark hills in the dark seemed to always be watching us. We could all imagine the creepy faces of masked serial killers holding axes, staring out their windows plotting. Of course, as you can imagine, this added to our discomforts. Love, marching band performers (El Toro High-school)

We couldn't be happier with our daughter's experience at this small private Catholic school. What…read moretruly sets it apart is the sense of community. Because of its size, every teacher genuinely knows each student--not just academically, but personally--and it's clear how deeply they care about each child's growth and well-being. The academic standards are excellent, and students are consistently challenged and supported. Beyond academics, there is a strong emphasis on moral character, faith, and being a kind, responsible citizen within the community. Those values are woven into everyday learning, not just taught as a separate lesson. The administrative staff greet every student by name each morning, creating a warm and welcoming environment that makes children feel seen and valued from the moment they walk through the door. Parent involvement is encouraged and truly appreciated, which further strengthens the school community. We feel grateful to be part of a school where education, faith, and character are so thoughtfully balanced. It has been a wonderful place for our daughter to learn, grow, and thrive.

The school did little to remedy the situation even after we had this documented in a police report and they decided to keep the other student at the school. Our pleas to provide a suitable solution that would be acceptable for our child were ignored and we had to move schools. I couldn't imagine a worse school experience than this one.

The pace is chill, there's a disciplined, not regimented, routine with plenty of "non-surfing", wholesome fun (projected movies, games, guitars, skit and talent shows, in the lounge tent). You don't need to have any experience surfing, or you can be a shredder. There's always instructors in the water that are willing to coach you or you can be left to your own talents/whims and do your own thing. They bring the boards as well as lunch all the way down to the beach for the kids and instructors to enjoy (it's a bit of a walk to get down there and I assume it's easier and more convenient to bring the lunch and gear to them). The boards provided are just fine. My son had his own wetsuit and booties so I can't comment on the wetsuits. I grew up in Southern California but we live In Austin, TX. I only mention this because we can't surf in the middle of Texas (generally)! Meaning, zero experience is ok here. There's no pressure to be the best, but there's definitely pressure to have a great time! And they do! The Camp Manager, Bart, is a fantastic guy from Australia that my son loves. He and his team of chill "Counselors" keep a chill vibe that makes this great thing happen. Kudos to Jason and his entire team surf/kid enthusiasts. This camp came at a critical point in my sons life and it made him a better young man. Thank you, Sincerely! Sky and Shai

In a week of trying in pretty heavy conditions for a beginner and this time of year I never once felt unsafe or unprepared thanks to excellent instruction and help getting that big 9' board out and getting a big shove to catch each wave. I had only boogie boarded before and swam some in the ocean. And the last time I was on a boogie board was maybe twenty years prior. I'm now hooked and shopping for a board. Ethan was my constant coach. We had a small class so the coach/instructor to student was nearly one to one. Everyone on the staff were encouraging and really a pleasure to be around. All the campers were great to meet and talk with, laugh and surf. Great fun. I plan on attending every year. And surfing as much as I can fit in every week.

I felt so welcomed by all of the families when starting the school year! The families at Our Savior's are THE most caring, kind and compassionate families I know. I was a little worried about how she would adjust since she'd been home with me the entire time but they cared for her so well and now at almost 17 months she's comfortable to the extent I usually have to convince her to come home and that we'll be back the next day. Within the first month, she adjusted pretty well, learnt how to nap independently, started walking, became comfortable around other people, and now her language is expanding and she is learning new words every day. She can eat independently too with hands and even with a spoon and fork. I'm really impressed with her growth. I appreciate their curriculum, they are structured, they have art, playtime both inside and outside, and a fun summer program keeping the kids engaged and experiencing new things. All the teachers are so kind, warm and caring and you can see it in the faces of the other children. This was actually our decision point to bring our child here, when we did the tour the kids were so happy and just being kids playing. This sealed the deal for us.
