Went here this morning with my 8 year old daughter and a couple friends. This happened in front of another group of people who were appalled. This clown was told that I just spent $72 at this place and he told me he can't help that. He then began to threaten to have us removed if I didn't comply with his nonsense. My daughter was very upset and after some choice words with this spineless pansy he cowered into the store to not be seen again. I am local and we have been going there for years. Never again and nobody we know or family will ever go again. Watch who you act a fool with. We carry weight. He also is a key board commander so his response should tell the story also.

Since its a fairly new course so it hasnt been beat up or over played. Its only 9 holes right now and they will let you go around twice. Staff is awesome and friendly. We were informed that there laying the ground work for the next 9 holes which should be available to be played late 2019 or early 2020.. One last note, they dont have a liquor lic yet, so bring your own beer for now... give this course a try, you will not be disappointed..

I scheduled a lesson with Mark Parson, and it was the best lesson that I've ever had. Upon…read morearrival, Mark had me hit about a dozen balls with whatever club I felt the most comfortable with. Mark suggested that I put my left thumb in the 1 o'clock position and open the club face about 1 degree. I then hit another dozen balls, and immediately my ball contact was 50% much better and more consistent. He then noticed that I couldn't do a full turn, so he suggested opening up my left toe about 30 degrees and trying to rotate my right heel to hit an imaginary range bucket with my right ankle on the turn. I hit some more balls, and I could definitely feel a big difference with my follow through. I love the fact that Mark looked at my grip, swing, and form, and didn't tell me what the textbook says. He basically took what I had, and tweaked it by making suggestions and explaining the fundamentals behind it. I still have a lot of practicing to do at the range, which I hate, but I can't wait to see my scores 2-3 strokes better than what I usually hit. 'm looking forward to seeing Mark again in July/August so that he can help me with my short game. I highly recommend this Mark and the MC Golf Academy for all skill levels.

I attended this school at their Crystal River, Florida location in January 2020. Excellent school…read morethat definitely improved my enjoyment and proficiency of golf. Instructors talented, patient and dedicated. Three hours of instruction on all aspects of game (groups of 4-5 of fairly equal ability; including swing, drivers, chipping, pitching, sand play, putting. Lunch is good at golf course clubhouse off menus. One hour daily playing course with instructors, including daily "green reading" was invaluable. Really spent a lot of time on course mgt. and shot selection. (My putting and sand play improved appreciably). After afternoon instruction we could play the regular "championship" course or a nine hole course reserved just for golf school participants (no additional charge for either). You are provided a golf cart which is assigned to you for the week (your clubs stay on your cart) and is ready to play with cleaned clubs daily. Dinner as a group nightly was good and varied choices available , but not gourmet. Daily buffet breakfast was standard and adequate, nothing fancy. Jay Morelli, Joe, et al were superb... many great stories as all have played on a tour. Joe was a true professional and talented instructor, a great person as well as an excellent golfer who could teach with great elan. One can play with a chosen partner/wife/son or daughter - otherwise you are paired with others of equal experience or ability. (Several "beginners" in school). I made several friends during the week. Videos are utilized and made available for future review with instructor suggestions on their website - very helpful. The resort is dated but adequate. Very friendly staff, good bar both in the resort and at a Tiki bar. Pool/hot tub useful. Several activities for non-golfers. Free parking. Prior reviewer complaint that there was no in-room safe is a moot point in that there are safes available gratis behind the front desk. I WOULD do this event again.

The tee boxes are no better than teeing off in your own backyard. No starter, No sand bottles, No repair of ruts caused by their own equipment, No beverage cart regardless of temperature, No water coolers, & No rangers.
