Furnish My Space - IKEA kitchen designed and installed by Furnish My Space in Piermont, NJ

I reached out to Eric, the owner, and pretty much a half hearted apology but essentially told I was shit out of luck. If they are putting hardware on your PAX system, I would be careful, they might ruin your doors Here is my story IDA Flatpack were super accommodating to send someone on Friday evening to assemble my PAX after Ikea screwed me over by not delivering that Thursday. Unfortunately he forgot his stencil or something to assist him with putting the handles on the door, so requested to come back Sunday to finish the job. Not a problem. On Saturday my husband and I level our closet, and place the PAX exactly where we wish it to go in the room Sunday, Nate comes and puts the handles on. I go to check the handles, and they are obvious to the naked eye they are uneven. I tell Nate and he tried to square up the doors. At the ends, even with his best efforts, something was off, but he told us unless he drilled new holes, that was the best he could do. After Nate left, we discovered that he had moved our PAX a few inches over, I'm not sure why. All the work my husband and I went through to level and ensure the closet was correct was for nothing, it took us another half hour / hour after Nate left to square the closet (now with clothing), it was a total waste of time. I am most displeased with how the handles look, from the outside and inside. I am attaching pictures so you can see what looks to be a mess from both the outside of the closet and the inside. The outside you can the screws, and the inside of the closets looks like the hole was drilled several times because he couldn't get the right placement. I am highly disappointed at this. The doors are ruined. I expected much more professional work from someone who does this all the time. If I had known this would be the result, I would not have let him near the handles of the PAX. Nate was pleasant and great, but his work at the end really did not hold up for what I think you would expect when you send someone out to do a job.

Fortunately I googled "Ikea Kitchen Installers" and MOA came up. I emailed them and sent them my plans. Natasha got back to me pretty quickly via email with a very reasonable quote. I honestly couldn't get other people to call me back or respond so based on the good reviews I signed the contract and gave a $500 deposit and hoped that I didn't book some low lifers trying to scam me. When Mark + Dean showed up (with two other guys) the first day in their white van, they honestly looked like a band coming off the last leg of their road tour. I embarassingly thought to myself I might've made a mistake hiring this company. BOY WAS I WRONG. Fast forward, they got my kitchen done in about 5 days total. Mind you, this is a large kitchen (10 foot X 5 foot island with 3 walls of cabinets with custom pieces around the refrigerator, sink, beverage fridge, etc. You would think that such a large job completed in 5 days would be a mediocre to okay but Mark and Dean's craftmanship is UNPARALLEL. Every custom piece that they had to hand cut in the garage fit PERFECTLY into place like Ikea/Semihandmade had cut it themselves. Mark and Dean made sure to check in about any important decisions in regards to custom pieces to make sure I was happy. They cleaned up after themselves and stacked the empty ikea boxes in a tetris like way to not take up too much space in my garage. I'm only writing this review because this team did a SUPERB job. I hope I never have to do another house renovation but if I do, I'll definitely use this team again. Don't hesitate. Book them today. TLDR: Large Kitchen, Immaculate install, no extra charges, no funny business, easy to work with, timely, would recommend without reservations.

I had a few too many drinks at Reservoir and locked myself out. I eventually rang the neighbors enough times for one to buzz me through the front door of the building (this was after I attempted to climb the alley gate). It was either sleep on the steps or bust down the door, so I did what I had to do. Next morning I woke up with a killer headache and a big problem to fix. The door frame was demolished and my cousin was heading back from Europe. I called several handymen but no one was up to the task. Lou came through in the clutch. Repaired the busted door frame, smoothed everything out, and perfectly matched the paint. My cousin would have never known, but I came clean. This is a true story - Lou will attest! 10/10 recommend and still think about his clutch work years later. Thanks Lou!!!
