Interior The most recent owner has done some stuff to make it look more upscale, like faux interior wood flooring. Price / Value / Food I found some very good deals in the meat department. Unlike any of it's predecessors, they have Boar's Head deli meats. They have a hot bar with stuff like fried chicken, fried pork chops, mac & cheese. Apparently the offerings change daily but there's a schedule (ie fried fish on Fridays). Customer Service As usual, the customer service was top notch. The deli attendant made a mistake and sliced nearly 2.5 lbs of turkey instead of a quarter pound (0.25) and one night when I ventured in, someone from the deli had dished up portions of food and priced them without labeling the contents so the staff had no way of knowing if the containers contained sweet potato casserole, mac n cheese or what - but we all gotta give people grace in this day of struggle staffing. Overall I hope these guys stick around. They also own The Market (restaurant and seafood market).

Some of the prices are a bit high compared to competitors but shop local!!! The prices are fine when you factor in the convenience of location. The parking lot was completely done along with the interior. It's clean, modern and well organized. When it was BiLo it felt horribly crowded. Welcome to Darien because this store makes our tiny town look good!

Great antique store right off Hwy 17. It's been in the area for as long as I can remember and as a…read moreresult local families often turn to Broad Street Antiques for selling local furniture, jewelry, and household items. Darien has is Georgia's second oldest city so there's a lot of history. Some of it is in this shop. If you are into vintage, antique, reclaimed, etc. be sure to check Broad Street out. There is a great coffee shop a few doors down from them, and a wine shop / tasting room across the street. The whole street is quaint and not to be missed.

The idea of Family Dollar and Dollar Tree is great. The only issue I have is missing the old Fred's…read morethat was in this location. Understandably, if you never knew Fred's was here, you wouldn't be missing out. I guess I'll just start with the loss of a star. I was able to get some household repair products and now I'm going to local hardware shops that charge triple what I paid at Fred's. I love supporting local businesses, but I just needed a small can of white paint!! Anyway, rant done. There's a lot of mix with both stores in one. I love the ever-changing holiday items at the front of the store and ease of finding what I need. I was looking for a specific cable and an employee knew right where to find it. On that topic, the employees are always so nice. They will make a point to speak to you always. Overall, this is a great addition at a convenient location, with the best staff.

The owner helped my daughters pick out jackets that we needed due to unexpected weather. They were down to earth and very helpful! If I was local I would come back for more goodies!
