This is by no means the antique extravaganza you may have read about, but it may be one of the best…read morevenues that ever hosted an antique show. The setting is under a group ancient oak trees a stones throw from the ocean in Postell Park on Beachview Drive off of Mallory Street. There are plenty of free parking spaces and lots of places near by to shop and dine. I over heard a few of the vendors stating that this was their 15th year showing here and that this antique sale has been going on for 37 years. In 2018 the shows are scheduled for - April 7th - 8th, May  26th - 27th (Memorial Day Weekend), June 23rd - 24th, September 1st - 2nd (Labor Day Weekend), October 6th - 7th, November 3rd - 4th all shows are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday, if you arrive early it won't be a problem it's less crowded although all the vendors may not have all their wares out some will no doubt. It seems the crowds never arrived for this early April show so I can't say if this was a normal crowd or not or if the cool weather kept them away. The quality items are all around the park I was happy to see there were no garage re-sellers onsite and I found the prices were more than fair, but since negotiation is part of the fun they all seemed to know the game and offered some pretty good deals...

The store is very dirty which is eh, I don't mind dusty but smelly and dirty is bleh. I found a rug that I kind of liked, but the price was ridiculous considering it needed major repairs. I think the store name might better be called overpriced junk from someone's trunk. I would pass getting off the exit to shop here. No deals but maybe it's ok for locals in the area.

Most time you can expect to find name brand items with the tags still on them hanging on the rack costing a fraction of the original price. I have bought clothes here from high end retail stores like-Chicos, Talbots. St John, Evan Picone, Harve Benard, Jones New York and many other high-end stores...this is just to mention a few... You will always find valuable items from clothing to household items bedding, sturdy and decorative furniture and accessories.... Over the past 2 years moving here from Scottsdale Arizona now living in Harbor Pointe hasn't left me deprived because I live very close to this upscale retail thrift store where I can still shop and rummage... This is one of those old tyme antique shops that you don't want to blow by when traveling through…read morethe area. I actually made a u-turn after passing it and I'm so glad I did. This place is filled with treasures and the owners are about as friendly as you'll ever find and if you find something you like and the odds are you will let your pocket full of sweaty cash help you negotiate a deal. I found a few pieces I knew I was taking home with me and I was hoping they wanted to sell them as bad as I wanted to buy them and at the end of the day I was loading them in my truck. There are some outstanding collectibles here and it's pretty apparent the owner has an eye for filling this shop full of things that's worth stopping in to look at. This is the type of shop I love to walk through, these types of places are becoming more rare everyday and it such a refreshing break from the "antique malls" filled with polished glass and locked displays. If you visit any of the shops in the area save some time and money and spend sometime with these folks...

But my experience was great- we were greeted coming through the door & I was near the register (unknowing) and was asked if I was ready to check out- but I wasn't. The lady told me they were moving a big piece of furniture- just in case I had to wait to check out. No problem, I was just getting started! As I made my way to the back of the store- John got excited- a kitty came out to greet us. She obviously could spot cat lovers! She made sure to meow and demand pets and followed me around which made me absolutely have to buy something. I am a sucker. They carried my favorite soap line- Naked Bee Honey products, but didn't have any bar soap- boo, I tend to buy all in stock when I find it and it's always at small stores! Instead I found a hefty slab of geode crystal with agate- but it wasn't priced. I had a number in my head I would go up to and they sold it to me for less! Yippee~ sold! All in all- I would totally go back to shop here again.

Less furniture than in the past. But, the staff members I've encountered aren't helpful or friendly. The three times I've been in recently, the employee at the front cashier has ignored me completely....just kept reading book or looking at phone or chatting with another employee. Today, I asked where I might find towel hooks, and the employee said they didn't have any. I asked, "none?" because I thought that was unusual. She said "none". I looked around the store, saw maybe a half dozen of them, and left.
