At the time, this space was built out as an Amazon Fresh that was always slated to open "in a few months". But after a couple of years, it was officially announced that Amazon wouldn't open, which was a bummer for the plaza and grocery shoppers in the area (although Stew Leonard's is right down the block so it's not like it was a food desert). Anyway, thankfully Big Y took the space, breathing new life into the plaza as well as providing lots of jobs. Since I was in the area and I needed some mozzarella cheese, I decided to stop by and check out the market and I really liked it! The store is nicely designed and very inviting. The shelves were full and while mentally reviewing my standard grocery list, I could see they had all the stuff I usually need, unlike some stores (cough, cough...Stop and Shop). I got the cheese I needed and saw that I would save $1.70 if I signed up for a Big Y card, so I did that quickly on my phone to get my discount. Staff at checkout were friendly. In short, this is a clean, well-stocked store with good deals and friendly staff. I liked it.

First of all, I love the variety of foods & diets that Chamomille caters to. They make it very easy to find most of what I am looking for. The produce section is BEAUTIFUL. I will say though, that I have purchased a bad (soft/borderline moldy) batch of cherry tomatoes that I had to toss as well as twice I have purchased expired Bobo's items. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal to me, however when you are paying these prices for food you expect them to be good. It was a bummer having to toss them. Another thing that I find a little frustrating is the large amount of products with seed oils hidden in the ingredients (highly inflammatory & overall not healthy for you at all, but you can do your own research/determine that for yourself). Because of these two reasons, I feel obligated to give 4 stars instead of 5. It takes some of the convenience of feeling like I don't have to obsess over the ingredient labels out of my trips. Something else I would like to mention is that they have a relatively small pet selection. I know it is a small store (you would be impressed with how much they can fit in there however!), they have shelves for pet supplies but they are practically bare.
