Since the boxed cases are unavailable, customers must purchase the individual bottles at $1.50 each. I asked if buying six individual bottles could be honored at the case price, which is a reasonable accommodation many stores make when only the packaging is missing. Instead of receiving a respectful explanation, the manager, Jazz, spoke to me in a raised tone, repeated the same incorrect information, and became visibly irritated when I asked for clarification. When I ultimately asked to remove the items from my purchase, he rolled his eyes and responded with frustration. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. After this incident, customer service reached out to me and assured me they would look into the matter. They made a point to calm the situation and promised follow‑up. However, every time I've reached out for an update, I've received no response. The lack of communication only adds to the disappointment. I understand supply issues happen, but the way this situation was handled--both in‑store and afterward--has caused me to lose confidence in the customer service at this location. I strongly recommend improved training for management and better follow‑through from customer service. Customers deserve clear communication and respectful treatment, even when the answer is "no."

It's located at Ritchie Station right next to TJ Maxx, so there's a massive parking lot. But on a weekend, you still may not be able to park close. It's a busy plaza! Upon entering, the aisles are easily labeled and the shelves were quite stocked. I found the juices I came for with no problems at all. Staff were super nice at the register and everything was seamless. There's nothing about this location that makes it stand out from the others -- I do wish that they, like the locations closer to me, had self-checkout. I'm a self-checkout king and I miss it when I don't have it, lol!

Over the years with all their changes Bloom and now back to Food Lion (yup dated myself!!) love love love them!! Now that they've remodeled the 197 location and have much more selection it has become my go to spot for steady grocery shopping (I supplement with Costco and Sam's Club). The vegetarian products has grown and are priced very well against other chains that carry the same products. The staff is helpful and nice, they are always cleaning, stocking, gathering the carts, and more recently cleaning the carts!!! I thank you for all of this! This is why I keep coming here! Also since they are always stocking the frozen food is ALWAYS frozen, not when you get it home and it's been refrozen. They are good about that. The location is not paired with much (Subway, Dunkin!! Beauty Supply and other shops) however this Food Lion in my opinion stands out.

The area feels safe, although it can get pretty busy at times. Luckily, I was able to snag a parking spot in a prime location. I got a slice of that on this trip here. We also got some fresh black mission figs (super yummy) and sampled a new fruit we didnt know about called a chocolate navel orange (also super yummy). My mom and I love fresh veggies and fruits and grocery stores are places we like to go together and explore. Its a special bonding activity that I have really come to cherish immensely over the years. We also got some mango fruit pops as my mom likes them. We are both lactose intolerant so dairy options are usually out of the question. I also saw a new product I have never seen, which are Ethiopian injera crisps and that looked super intriguing, so I bought some to try. Happy to report that they are delicious and definitely taste like injera!
