Waited for 1 hour (asked twice when our turn was as we saw others getting service ahead of us) only to find out that the pharmacist was not going to help us. Great to have a pharmacy so close and open late…read more We like to get all our prescriptions filled here because they keep a record of past prescriptions. Helps me keep track of which kid has been on which antibiotic etc. I love the sales and always browse the store for clearance and reduced items. I find some great deals! Great that the post office is here as well. Nice group of employees there now. 4 stars for above! But oh my goodness I had quite the encounter with the sales lady in the beauty department that is separated from the main store. Short story I asked for help picking the right shade of foundation. She tried to upsell me to the "starter kit". I declined. But she would not drop it. I mean she grabbed the box and started walking to the till telling me I NEED it and it is such a great price. I had to tell her no 3 or 4 times. She would not take no for answer. She finally walked over and slammed the box down. And acted like I was a complete moron for not making this bigger purchase with a box full of products I ALREADY OWN. Wow. Not buying make up here again! Do they only pay her on commission or something? Cause I think they should add a base pay she was starving for a sale. Turned me right off. Back to Sephora!

I have tried for the last 8 years to deal with Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy in Cochrane AB simply…read morebecause I moved to an acreage slightly closer to Cochrane than Calgary. I finally gave up. Here are my complaints (1) the staff appears to change constantly therefore whatever you have "solved" with the last group, goes right back into chaos with the new ones. (2) for the first few months they faxed for prescription refills to a number that was NOT my doctor. Then they faxed to a dr's fax that wasn't even at the right clinic. (3) They tell you your prescription has "been received". Or "come back in an hour" when it has NOT been received and has NOT been prepared. They have strange rules and regulations with regard to Alberta Health Care (when and what it will cover) and waiting periods (for a medication I have been on for almost 30 years). I discovered from my new (Calgary) pharmacy that neither philosophy (if I can call it that) was true. This pharmacy is inept in many ways.

This review is for Shoppers Drug Mart Panvish Pharmacy Ltd. at 436-6 Ave SE, Unit 106, Calgary, AB…read moreT2G 0G7 Terrible customer service. They treat EVERY single customer suspicious of a crime and thinks all customers who carry a full reusable blue bag from Superstore intends to steal their cheap makeup and merchandise and have their incompetent insecurity team follow regular customers, as manager's lame excuse of its location being in a "vulnerable area". They thought I was gonna steal a cat-shaped kajal black gel eyeliner and their fresh-of-the-boat shop and INsecurity staff who speak little to no english at all from an impoverished third world country known for doctors and engineers and designated shitting streets, low trust society , just because I was hyperfocused on one product due to my neurodivergence and carrying a superstore used blue reausable bag. I asked the paki-beauty advisor who have seen me and remember me if I was being profiled as a criminal because their insecurity guard keep following me. He communicated it was a "misunderstanding" and they two communicated in a foreign language which did not help the situation and the insecurity guard didn't stop following me which made me feel like I am being targetted for just shopping and window shopping. I paid my eyeliner sharpener and eyeliner costing less than 6 cad$ total. I told the customer service person about the unacceptable treatment and profiling and he apologized. I told this employee that I do not get treated poorly at more expensive and luxury stores like Chanel and they do not even sell precious luxury items to justify their poor treatment. 2 days after, I called that branch to complain and follow up but their employees acted as if my legitimate customer complaint was inconveniencing their work and hanged up on me whle I was calmly speaking and told me that my business is not welcome there because they were butthurt that somebody has called out their uncivilised and inappropriate customer treatment. I do not recommend visiting this branch because of the criminal activity happening and the gangster manner of its poorly trained, maladjusted and incompetent, inefficient in time management employee. If you cannot handle complaints by customers, the lifeline of your business and why you have this job in the first place, please self-deport to where you once came and never get employment in customer service where professionalism and competence are very important. Do not tell customers they are bothering your work because your failure to plan and execute your job duties are horrible and you cannot handle high level customers who are not there to be criminals. Do you understand? Shout out to that Russian-accent women on the phone who toned policed me and complained to me about her bad time management. Please go back to serving Mother Russia. Your lack of customer professionalism do not belong in Canada. Please boycott this Shoppers Drugmart Panvish Pharmacy at East Village. Terrible are, terrible staff! Unprofessional and unsafe! I hope that they close this area permanently.
