Then before they show you the screen they tap something and then next thing they say is oh well there's X without tracking. isn't that what I asked for. Cheapest nice try. But this location doesn't seem to push postage rates on you. And they don't seem to do fat finger measuring either. I hate it when some locations measure your box and hold the tape measure wrong and it adds almost "1" cm extra to your dimensions which is almost $2 extra And... they lend you their tape gun when your package needs a piece. Some locations will make you buy a roll if you need a tiny piece for whoever unexpectedly situation. I like this location a lot. And they are fast. (Yep some locations move at glacial speeds)

I picked up some pop and a tub of Poppycock to munch on while I was doing some power shopping. There's also full service electronics department with TVs, radios, computers, phones, software, accesories, music, movies, & more. The selection of CDs is decent, but the prices are slightly on the high side, most CDs I saw were priced around $14.99. I saw a Hedley CD priced at $14.99 here and the same CD was priced at $10 at HMV. Overall, London Drugs is very impressive and offers way more goods than the other pharmacies (CVS, Rite Aid, & Walgreen's) I'm used shopping at in the USA. I found the staff here very helpful, especially when I was checking out the large plasma TVs (I was actually trying to catch up on the NFL scores).

To add insult to injury, they only gave me 1/3 of my prescription so had to go back another time to pick up the rest for which I cannot pick up elsewhere so had to go back one LAST time when the rest becomes available. Very disappointing experience & will never use this store again.

A decent electronics department, and some fairly decent food isles. As I said before, LD is a great place to do one-stop shopping, and burning some good time at lunch if you got nothing else to do, and need to be entertained. The only thing about this location is that it is deep within the mall, and you have to park on the backside of the mall if you do not want to walk great distances to get here. This is probably also the place to come within this mall to get 'higher' end electronic products. Seems odd, but it is true, if you really think of the other alternatives in Lougheed. Constant sales are displayed right in the centre of this store, and they are always well stocked of sale items.

Oh my WORD is the service at the Canada Post outlet here the worst! Partly because of the poor…read moreinfrastructure, but also because of the bad management. Long story short -- I spent 40 minutes there to pick up a package, only to be turned away and asked to come back another day. I waited in line for over 20 minutes, watching the two staff members slowly tag-team on a single package at a time. One was essentially just looking over the other's shoulder. They could have sped things up significantly, if one of the clerks sorted packages, checked the line for pick-ups, or SOMETHING. The whole area was packed with stacks of parcels. On the counter, behind the counter, in the aisles of the Shoppers... Not sure if that's safe for people's belongings, or if it's even protocol. Expensive electronics and many other valuable items were just sitting out. While still waiting in line, at 6pm, many more carts full of parcels showed up. I jokingly mentioned to one of the Canada Post carriers that were bringing the packages in, that the Christmas season must be rough. She replied "oh it's almost like this any time of the year". Anyways, back to the two guys behind the counter. They were obviously both new, and admitted so to some of the customers ahead of me. When I finally got to the counter, they scanned my tag, which said that my parcel was ready for pickup 5 hours earlier, at 1pm that day. The clerk pointed at the huge pile of parcels, and told me that my item must be in there or among the new deliveries. The other clerk started looking through all the parcels, and asked me to help search through them. Again, not sure if that's standard practice? We spent another 20 minutes and scoured through all the parcels, me doing most of the ones in the aisle and on the counter, and him doing the ones behind the counter. Neither he or I could find it. Though I don't know how thorough the clerk was. The other teller said "it must be that it hasn't gotten here yet. Sometimes the deliveries are split in half and they only bring half the things on time. It's a weird thing that Canada Post does. You should come back tomorrow." So yeah... I need to go back again, and probably spend another half hour to hopefully retrieve my package.

A busy Shoppers inside Metrotown. It is located on the top floor of Metrotown near Walmart. They do…read morenot have produce but they do have some grocery items like a dairy and frozen items. We came here to pick up prune juice. The store was pretty busy when we came. Also I did find this location a bit crammed. It is not my favorite Shoppers but I do like the fact that it is inside Metrotown. Only issue is that if you buy lots of items, you might have trouble carrying it across the mall to your parking space (depending on where you parked).
