I asked one or the workers nearby if they had any testers available for a certain shade I wanted to try and even though there weren't any, she was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. I've never received such great service a Shoppers Drug Mart location before and I was very much impressed as to what a great employee she is! Even after she went back to stocking some merchandise, she saw me looking at other brands and recommended what she thought would be a good fit for me which I very much appreciated. I really wish I got her name but she looked like maybe she was in her 40s, with an accent and short hair. Even when cashing me out, she gave me a free sample of a body lotion and showed me where a perfume they had displayed at cash was on the shelf (as I had mentioned I liked the scent). She's a great employee and deserves to be recognized! As for this location itself, it's relatively small and didn't have a lot of what I was looking for but the positive experience I had honestly overrode that.

Without ever having seen me before, this wonderful woman recognized my mothers name and knew what she needed for to complete her prescription. And her own doctor did not fulfill with the papers in front of him! I had just been asking about one last medication I knew we had forgotten yet she just offered the information and knew off hand because she is a careful, caring and conscientious person! I still think it is amazing that both her and the doctor were able to provide such good care and service to help accommodate when she was too sick to come in herself. Grateful for our Canadian health care system. Please, More like you! More like this! Promote this woman Bless!

I had a man swing the passenger door so wide that it hit my vehicle and didn't bother to apologize until I explicitly stated that he should. This Shoppers Drug Mart was great in that it had everything that I needed. What I didn't need was having a careless man swing his passenger door wide open and startling me when I was inside my vehicle. I heard a loud thud, which was his door hitting my car's side mirror. Here's the longer version... I was in the area. I needed a Shoppers Drug Mart. (SDM) This one was across the street in a plaza that I had been to maybe a decade ago. The Baskin-Robbins store is still there. I had never been to this SDM, so I drove over here. I parked fairly close to the entrance. I got out of my car and walked in. I have owned a few night guards over the years. My dentist had always said to rinse it under water after every use. He never said that I needed to use toothpaste and a toothbrush to clean it. I'm guessing it's because the toothpaste and brushing may be abrasive to the night guard's material. I learned that Polident has a gentle cleaner for night guards. I wanted to get it. I walked into this store and found the oral hygiene section. I was pleased that the product that I needed was on sale. I was happy. This store has a post office in the back left part of the store. It was open when I was here on a Saturday at around 4 pm. Next to it was an electronics and game section that looked cool. I browsed around the store. The clearout section was by the frozen foods. It's worth looking at what's there, as it's different in each store. I also welcome savings. I was here on Valentine's Day. Easter merchandise was alive and kicking. Poor Valentine's Day. I decided to go with the human at the checkout to pay for my goods. She asked me if I had a PC Optimum card. I had the barcode from my SDM app scanned. I then paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. This store does have self-checkout kiosks. It was nice interacting with a human. I thanked her and headed to my car. I put my items away in my reusable bag. I then looked at my phone to figure out eateries close by to fetch takeout for dinner. A minivan backed into the parking spot next to mine. I was startled by a thud. The passenger swung his passenger door so wide that it hit my car's side mirror. I looked at him, startled and angry. He looked at me, got out of the car, and walked behind to the back of his vehicle. I rolled down my window and asked him why he ran away. His wife said that she didn't want to hit my car. Of course, you didn't. Why chime in? You didn't hit my car. Your husband did. He and his son, who drove the car, stood behind their minivan. So weird. I got out of my car to inspect the side mirror. No damage, thankfully. I took a photo. I then went in front of their minivan and took a photo of their licence plate. I then confronted both men. How about an apology for hitting my mirror? The son apologized. I acknowledged his apology. However, his dad who did the act should have apologized. He claimed that he did. Nope, I watched you after you hit my car's side mirror. You didn't say a word. You got out of the vehicle, shut the door, and ran to the back of it because you were likely scared. I'd recommend being careful when you are parked in this area. You could deal with a careless person who doesn't seem to care about his vehicle's door hitting your vehicle. It's best to own up to hitting a vehicle and saying that you're sorry. Having the person whose car you hit prompt you to apologize isn't ideal. Be a good, responsible human. (79)

I have been a loyal Saje customer for years. I've always enjoyed their products and the shopping…read moreexperiences I've had at multiple locations over the years. However, I decided to stop by the Eaton Centre's location on August 14th a little before noon, and quickly realized how unbearable it is to come here. While I continue to love the products (forever obsessed with Solace!), the blonde woman who spoke to me was incredibly obnoxious, pushy, and made the entire experience uncomfortable. It was very apparent to me that she has no genuine interest in the products she is selling, and is more concerned with making sure that I just by SOMETHING rather than nothing. I know this to be true, because I made a comment about their body butters not being that great early on in my visit, to which she agreed. After recognizing that her goal was to coerce me with malicious sales tactics into buying something I did not need, I decided to play a game and revisit the body butters by saying how much I loved one of them. She then went on and on for over ten minutes about how live changing they are. HUH? In addition to that, when I attempted to communicate what I was looking for, she instead decided to speak over me and offer me a pain cream. I told her I did not experience pain, but that I was looking for refills for other products I already have. Instead of being kind, compassionate, and engaged with me like staff has been in my other visits to Saje, she continued to berate me over this pain cream and how it was fine if I didn't actually have pain, because it feels "so good" that it's worth it regardless. I don't know how to encapsulate how disrespected, overwhelmed, and confused this experience has left me. As I said, I adore Saje. I've found their staff to be so kind and welcoming. I can tell that, at other stores, they actually CARE about what I'm saying. All this woman cared about was getting a quick buck. Saje, please reflect and examine what you stand for. I miss the Saje where I knew my wellness was cared about. This history is the only reason I am being generous with my rating here. If your goal is to scam your community into buying whatever so that your pockets get lined, definitely continue with the hiring trajectory you're on.
