Everyone there is quite informative and if you have a question the person serving you doesn't know, they make it a point to find out from someone else. I don't have a drug plan and was even offered a discount on the already low dispensing fee. I get my annual flu shot here and they are always kind and gentle. Prescription are filled quickly and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, especially to the larger chain establishments. If you are in the Brampton area I would highly recommend this pharmacy.

All the staff behind the counter are courteous and efficient. If they don't have your prescription, they will call you as soon as it's delivered to pick it up. I found the process extremely efficient. In terms of the rest of the store, they have milk, soft drinks, bread, frozen food, eggs, etc. The beauty section doesn't have as many brands as those with a specific make up area (ie: no Benefit, Lancome, etc.) but they do have all the drug store brands (Maybelline, Vichi, Covergirl, and so on). The pharmacy definitely stands out the most for me in this store, but for baking needs and odds and ends, this Shoppers has it all. You can also pay for prescriptions by credit card which I was pleased to hear.

I can buy almost anything in here but not everything. . When it comes to beauty products they don't have it all. .I mean they have the brands that all SDM's carry but they do not have all the stock. The hand cream that she was using wasn't healing a thing. I found one brand that seemed promising while doing some research online. The site said that it was available at this particular Shoppers Drug Mart. The store was conveniently on my way home from work. Then again, I cut across most of the GTA, so I pass by a ton of stores! This store is in a plaza. There seemed to be a Food Basics or some green-painted grocery store that has closed down. Shoppers Drug Mart is in the corner further down. The parking area can be a bit chaotic. It's an older plaza and the lanes are more narrow than what I'm used to in suburbia. This store has been here for a while. It has everything that you'd expect it to have, including a grocery aisle. I walked every aisle and could not find the hand cream that I was looking for, which was disappointing. However, there was a Gold Bond one that was on sale. It has been approved by the Canadian Diabetes Society. It has proven results. It was also on sale. I bought it! I dropped the cream off at my parents' place. My mom said that she would try the hand cream out immediately. This morning, I spoke to my mom. She said that three hours later, she noticed a huge difference. She no longer has cracked hands. Nice! She asked me whether she could pay me back. Hearing her say that this product works is all that I wanted. The lone cashier at this store was friendly and made sure that each customer was okay. She helped out a senior ahead of me. I liked the care that she showed and the help that she gave. I'd come back here again when I'm in the area. (157)

This rating is for the Beauty department…read more My GP recommended a specific brand OTC cream. He gave me the brand name, Cera Ve. He warned me that the price range would be around $30/lb. Well that's serious money in my book (unfortunately.) I came into the store between 9-10a.m. on a Thursday. It wasn't too busy, to my relief. On the other hand, I wanted to be sure to get the right stuff, and wanted to check with the Pharmacy that it wasn't physically behind the counter before hunting the aisles. I took my place in line, and began to wait .. and wait. I have no problem letting her serve the current customer first, go ahead take the time necessary to do your job. After the customer walks away, however, she continues to really take her time. I stand, and wait...keep waiting...there are people adding up behind me. Finally I get so annoyed I need to start making conversation with the customer behind me. As we begin filling our own time void, the staff immediately decides to continue with someone else not in line. THEN I get to hear that it is indeed not kept behind the counter, but on the shelf. Once I hit the aisle, I do get a staff who is available and takes the time to answer my questions about the various formulations offered on the shelf. She had good knowledge of the different ingredients and their applications. I was finally able to purchase what I needed. I should have made more effort to remember her name as I would go look for her next I came back. Good service with an appropriate knowledge level.

You pay the taxes and difference. I can't complain. The cashier was pleasant. She even asked me which rewards level I wanted to use today. The only downside is that the parking lot is fairly narrow. A minivan got honked at for trying to back up and couldn't see a car narrowly passing by. I actually had to back up while trying to complete a left turn to leave because the lot is so narrow. It's a great one stop shop especially when you are particular about beauty products. This location is quite large and right at entrance has an extended perfume section. It's part of the new renovation project for introducing the Sephora products. The extension of the cosmetics is really well lit and organized. The food & cleaning product section is larger than the regular Shoppers and they have tons of well known brands in the clearance shelves. Also, I was really impressed that almost all the well known products were fully in stock and that on a weekend.
