Owner and Senior Mechanic Gary Smith is a Retired Navy Veteran and opened The Shop in 1997 starting off with a 16ft flat bed trailer and a very old single stage air compressor. Over time with many 18-20 hr days and eating alot of beans and rice, for weeks on end, built up the business and acquired our extreamly large inventory of parts, upgrading the service units to miniature shops and gained a very large trucking company database. He has gained most of this companies respect and recognition by providing prompt and reliable service in the Heavy Truck Repair industry. Gary has worked hard to get this company where it is today. He didn't have a backer or loans, he started with the money he had in his pocket and made the company grow from a dream to a reality with alot of very hard and dedicated work.
Co-owner and Lead Mechanic Chris Buesa was raised around the trucking industry from a young age. He has trained OJT with his dad Gary since he was 10 years old, how to work on all system
